Waebrania 4:16 pia inafundisha kwamba kuna kusudi la kuja kwetu kwenye kiti cha neema. Na kusudi hilo ni lipi? \u201c\u2026ili tupate rehema, na kupata neema ya kutusaidia wakati wa mahitaji.\u201d<\/p>

Rehema ni mojawapo ya mahitaji yetu ya msingi kwa sababu ya dhambi na kushindwa kwetu. Baba yetu wa Mbinguni ni \u201cBaba wa rehema\u201d (2 Wakorintho 1:3), na Yeye ni \u201cmwingi wa rehema\u201d (Waefeso 2:4). Mtume Paulo alionekana mbele ya kiti cha enzi cha neema alipokuwa akiteseka kutokana na mwiba wake mwilini. Mara tatu alimwomba Mungu aondoe udhaifu huu. Lakini hiyo haikuwa ndiyo aliyohitaji. Bwana hakumponya Paulo, wala hakuondoa usumbufu wake wakati huo. Lakini ilikuwa pale\u2014kwenye kiti cha enzi cha neema\u2014ndipo alipogundua rasilimali isiyo na kikomo na isiyoisha ya neema ya Mungu. Hapo alipata neema kwa ajili ya msaada wa wakati unaofaa.
