Neno <em>kukuza<\/em> inamaanisha kufanya mambo makubwa, sifa, heshima, kujisifu, kuinua, kukuza, au kutangaza makuu. Tunawezaje kumfanya Mungu kuwa mkubwa? Kuna njia mbili tofauti za kuliangalia neno hili <em>kukuza<\/em>. Tunaweza kulitazama kama tunavyoweza kulitazama kupitia darubini au kioo kinachokuza, ambacho hufanya kitu kidogo kionekane kikubwa zaidi, au tunaweza kulitazama neno hili kama tunavyoweza kulitazama kupitia darubini, ambalo huchukua kile kilicho mbali na kikubwa sana na kukileta karibu. Maisha yanayomtukuza Bwana hufanya hivyo tu. Ni maisha yanayomleta Mungu karibu na wale wanaokutana nao!<\/p><p>Hivyo ndivyo maisha ya Bwana Yesu yalivyofanya. Yake yalikuwa maisha makamilifu yaliyomtukuza na kumtukuza Mungu. Katika Zaburi ya 69 tunasoma kuhusu hisia za ndani na mateso ya Bwana Yesu (Zab. 69:2-4, 7-12, 20-21). Lakini pia tunaona maisha kama hayo yalivyotimizwa kwa ajili ya utukufu wa Mungu wakati Zaburi inasema kwa unabii kumhusu Bwana, <em>\u201c&quot;Nitalisifu jina la Mungu kwa wimbo, nami nitamtukuza kwa shukrani&quot;\u201d<\/em> (Zab. 69:30).<\/p><p>Bwana Yesu alimtukuza Mungu kwa kila njia, na kwa kufanya hivyo, pia alimleta Mungu karibu nasi. Maandiko yanasema, <em>\u201c&quot;Hapo mwanzo kulikuwako Neno, naye Neno alikuwa pamoja na Mungu, naye Neno alikuwa Mungu,&quot;\u201d<\/em> na kisha, <em>\u201c&quot;Neno alifanyika mwili, akakaa kwetu, nasi tukauona utukufu wake,&quot;\u201d<\/em> amejaa neema na kweli (Yohana 1:1, 14). Ninaamini Maandiko yanatufundisha kwamba utu wetu wote unapaswa kumtukuza Mungu\u2014roho, nafsi, na mwili wetu. Fikiria kile Mariamu alisema katika Luka 1:46, <em>\u201c&quot;Nafsi yangu inamtukuza Bwana.&quot;\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Yohana Mbatizaji alikuwa na hamu hiyo hiyo aliposema kuhusu Bwana Yesu, <em>\u201c&quot;Yeye hana budi kuongezeka, lakini mimi lazima nipungue&quot;\u201d<\/em> (Yohana 3:30).\u00a0<\/p><p>Mfano wa maisha kama hayo ungekuwa kile tunachosoma katika Danieli 1:8 na 3:28.
