Mwana aliporudi na kukiri, baba yake alimpa \u201cvazi bora zaidi.\u201d \u201cVazi bora zaidi\u201d hilo ni picha ya Kristo, Vazi la Haki, ambalo linachukua nafasi ya nguo chafu za kujihesabia haki (Isa. 64:6).<\/p><p>Ufufuo wa Kristo ni uthibitisho wa kuhesabiwa haki kwetu: \u201cAmbaye alitolewa kwa sababu ya makosa yetu, na kufufuka kwa sababu ya kuhesabiwa haki kwetu\u201d (Rum. 4:25). Kwa tendo moja la haki, kwa kutii mapenzi ya Mungu, Kristo alijitoa bila waa, akamtukuza Mungu, na akasafisha dhambi zetu. Mungu anahesabu haki hiyo kwa hesabu ya wote wanaomwamini Yesu (Rum. 5:18\u201319; 4:5\u20136).<\/p><p>Mwenye dhambi anayeamini amevikwa na Mungu sifa na thamani yote ya kazi ya Kristo msalabani. Anakubaliwa katika upendeleo wa Mungu, Hakimu mwadilifu, kwa sababu ya vazi hilo zuri. Kwa upendo kwetu, alimhukumu Kristo msalabani kana kwamba Yeye (katika asili yake isiyo na dhambi) ndivyo tulivyo (katika asili yetu ya dhambi).
