Habakuki 3:1\u20132<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

Katika sura ya kwanza, tulimwona Habakuki akijiuliza na kuwa na wasiwasi kuhusu kile kilichokuwa kikiendelea katika ulimwengu wake na kwa nini Mungu alikuwa akifanya kazi jinsi alivyokuwa. Katika sura ya pili, tulimwona akimtazama na kumngojea Bwana, akitambua kwamba Mungu alikuwa akifanya kazi kweli. Hapa katika sura ya tatu, tunamwona nabii akiabudu na kushuhudia ukuu na utukufu wa Mungu wake! Mtu huyu alitoka kwenye bonde la maswali na wasiwasi hadi kilele cha mlima wa maombi na sifa!<\/p>

Habakuki alikuwa amesikia kutoka kwa Bwana, naye alisimama kwa mshangao alipokuwa akimimina moyo wake kwa Mungu aliyesema. Usemi "Ee Bwana" umetumika mara tatu katika sura hii (3:2, 8). Unaonyesha hamu kubwa ya uamsho. Anamwita Mungu wake kama BWANA (Yehova), Mungu aliyepo wa uhusiano, na mara mbili anaomba, "Katikati ya miaka," kwamba Mungu angefufua kazi Yake na kuijulisha. Habakuki anamwomba Bwana afichue asili halisi ya kazi Yake, aijulishe, na afanye hivyo sasa! Labda alikuwa na 2 Mambo ya Nyakati 7:14 akilini mwake: "Ikiwa watu wangu walioitwa kwa jina langu watajinyenyekesha, na kuomba, na kunitafuta uso, na kuziacha njia zao mbaya; basi, nitasikia kutoka mbinguni, na kuwasamehe dhambi yao, na kuiponya nchi yao."\u201c<\/p>

Hamu hii kubwa ilitoka kwa moyo uliokuwa umesikia Neno la Mungu. Mungu alikuwa amesema, na moyo uliochochewa kuelekea uamsho ulisukumwa kuomba! Kusikia kutoka kwa Bwana huzaa imani (Rum. 10:17). Bila Neno la Mungu, hatuwezi kuomba kwa ufanisi. Maombi na Neno la Mungu mara nyingi huonekana sambamba (Matendo 6:4; Yohana 15:7).<\/p>

Katika kuomba uamsho, Habakuki alikuwa akiomba nini hasa? Alitaka kuthamini upya utukufu wa Bwana na maono mapya ya utakatifu Wake (3:3\u20134). Alitaka utambuzi mpya wa udhaifu wake mwenyewe, lakini pia uaminifu na ukuu wa Mungu unaoendelea. Alitamani Mungu ajulishe nguvu zake miongoni mwa watu wake.<\/p>

Jibu letu leo kwa Neno la Mungu ni lipi? Amesema, \u201cKwa maana vitu hivi vyote mkono wangu umevifanya, na vitu hivi vyote vipo,\u201d asema Bwana. \u201cLakini huyu ndiye nitakayemtazama: mtu aliye maskini na mwenye roho iliyopondeka, na anayetetemeka asikiapo neno langu\u201d (Isa. 66:2).<\/p>
