Hawezi kuvuruga msimamo wetu mbele za Mungu. Hakuna kinachoweza kututenga na upendo wa Mungu unaopatikana katika Mwanawe mpendwa (Rum. 8:31\u201339). Hata hivyo, Adui anatafuta kusababisha msukosuko na matatizo katika kufurahia kwetu nafasi hiyo. Mojawapo ya njia anazofanikisha hili ni kwa kutufanya tupoteze mtazamo wa uhusiano wetu na Mungu kwa kutilia shaka Neno la Mungu na utunzaji wake kwetu, kama alivyofanya katika Bustani ya Edeni na wazazi wetu wa kwanza (Mwa. 3:1\u20137).<\/p><p>Dhambi ilipoingia ulimwenguni kupitia kutotii kwa Adamu, mambo matatu yalikuja nayo: hatia, aibu, na hofu (Mwa. 3:10). Ibilisi ametumia mambo haya matatu kama silaha dhidi ya wanadamu. Mara nyingi hujidhihirisha katika maisha yetu, na kusababisha ugumu mkubwa katika roho, nafsi, na mwili wetu.<\/p><p>Kama wafuasi wa Yesu Kristo, ni lazima tukumbuke kwamba \u201cMungu hakutupa roho ya woga, bali ya nguvu na ya upendo na ya akili timamu\u201d (2 Tim. 1:7). Shetani ni mwizi anayetamani \u201ckuiba, kuua, na kuharibu.\u201d Anataka kuiba furaha yetu, kuua amani yetu, na kuharibu ufanisi wetu katika kumletea Bwana Yesu utukufu. Mara nyingi huanza mchakato huu kwa wasiwasi, ambao unaweza kukua na kuwa na wasiwasi, kukua na kuwa hofu, na hatimaye kuongezeka na kuwa hofu.<\/p><p>Bwana Yesu alizungumzia hatari za wasiwasi (Mt. 6:25\u201334). Kama vile ilivyokuwa katika Bustani ya Edeni, wasiwasi na yote yanayofuata mara nyingi huanza na uhuru kutoka kwa Mungu.
