Waebrania huanza na Mungu akizungumza, na kimsingi huishia na Mungu akizungumza: \u201cAngalieni msimkatae Yeye anenaye. Kwa maana kama hawakuokoka wale waliomkataa Yeye aliyenena duniani, je, sisi hatutaokoka zaidi tukimgeukia Yeye anenaye kutoka mbinguni, ambaye sauti yake ilitikisa nchi wakati ule; lakini sasa ameahidi, akisema, Mara moja tena nitatikisa si nchi tu, bali na mbingu pia\u2018 (Ebr. 12:25\u201326).<\/p>

Waebrania ni kitabu kinachofunua jinsi mimi na wewe tunavyoweza kumkaribia Mungu mtakatifu na mwenye haki katika ibada. Mambo ya Walawi ni nini kwa Agano la Kale, Waebrania ni kwa Agano Jipya. Mambo ya Walawi<\/em> inamaanisha \u201cAliita,\u201d kwani Bwana aliwaita watu Wake wamkaribie katika ibada, lakini kila mara kulingana na njia Yake iliyoamriwa.<\/p>

Mimi na wewe hatukuweza kumkaribia Yeye kabla ya kazi ya Kristo kukamilika. Hii ndiyo sababu Mungu alitukaribia katika nafsi ya Mwanawe. Alikuwa amesema na wanadamu kwa nyakati mbalimbali na kwa njia mbalimbali kupitia manabii. Lakini kama Mungu mtakatifu na mwenye haki, ambaye hawezi kutazama dhambi, alikuwa na ujumbe mmoja wa mwisho kwa wanadamu, ambao aliusema ndani na kupitia Mwanawe.<\/p>

Yeye mwenyewe \u201cambaye peke yake hana uzima wa milele, amekaa katika nuru isiyoweza kukaribiwa, ambaye hakuna mwanadamu aliyemwona wala awezaye kumwona\u201d (1 Tim. 6:16) alijifunua kupitia Mwanawe mpendwa. Hatukuweza kuingia kukutana naye, kwa hiyo akatoka kukutana nasi! Bwana Yesu Kristo, Mwana mpendwa wa Mungu, akawa Mwanadamu\u2014Mungu aliyedhihirishwa katika mwili (1 Tim. 3:16)\u2014ili kumjulisha Mungu kwa wanadamu. Yeye ndiye Neno la Milele (Yohana 1:1) ambaye alifanyika mwili na kukaa kwetu (Yohana 1:14). \u201cHakuna mtu aliyemwona Mungu wakati wowote; Mwana pekee, aliye kifuani mwa Baba, huyu ndiye aliyemfunua\u201d (Yohana 1:18).<\/p>

Hapo awali, Mungu alitumia njia nyingi tofauti kujifunua, lakini sasa ameelekeza kila kitu kupitia Mwanawe mpendwa, ufunuo wa Mungu aliyefanyika mwili.<\/p>
