\u201c"Yohana alimshuhudia, akapaza sauti yake, akisema, Huyu ndiye niliyenena habari zake, Ajaye nyuma yangu amekuwa mbele yangu; kwa maana alikuwako kabla yangu." Katika mstari wa 14, tuliona kwamba ujumbe wa mwisho wa Mungu kwa wanadamu ulikuja katika umbo la Mwanadamu. Tunaambiwa kwamba Yohana alimshuhudia huyu na kutangaza, \u201cYeye ajaye baada yangu ametangulia mimi, kwa maana alikuwa kabla yangu.\u201d Yohana alizaliwa miezi sita kabla ya Bwana Yesu (Luka 1:36), lakini hakuwa akizungumzia mpangilio wa mambo. Alikuwa akimaanisha waziwazi uwepo wa milele wa Bwana Yesu. Kama Mwana wa Mungu na Neno wa Milele, Bwana Yesu alikuwepo muda mrefu kabla ya Yohana kutungwa mimba.<\/p>

Tunaelewa kwamba neema ni neema isiyostahiliwa ya Mungu kwetu, ingawa hatustahili chochote. Mistari yetu inaendelea kutuambia kwamba wale wanaomwamini Bwana Yesu wamepokea neema kutokana na utimilifu wake. Hakuna mwisho wa utimilifu wake. Yeye hutumwagia neema yake ya neema kila mara. Ni neema juu ya neema.<\/p>

Fikiria kusimama kando ya bahari, ukiangalia wimbi baada ya wimbi likielekea ufukweni. Hii ndiyo picha iliyo mbele yetu. Ugavi wake wa neema unatoka katika utimilifu wake usio na kikomo, na hakuna mwisho wake. Ni neema juu ya neema.<\/p>

Mimi na wewe hatuokolewi tu kwa neema hii, bali pia tumetengwa nayo ili tuweze kuishi kwa ajili ya utukufu wa Mungu.<\/p>

Ujumbe wa Mungu kwetu ni kwamba kupitia neema Yake tunaweza kuokolewa milele, kutengwa kwa ajili ya utukufu Wake, na kumtumikia kama ushuhuda kwa ulimwengu unaokufa. Hili linawezekana kwa neema pekee.<\/p>
