Daudi alikabiliana na hisia hiyo hiyo kuhusu nyakati zake katika Zaburi 11:3, akisema, \u201cKama misingi ikiharibika, mwenye haki atafanya nini?\u201d Daudi alipokuwa akitafakari matatizo ya ulimwengu unaomzunguka, jibu lake lilikuwa, \u201cKatika <span class=\"cLIN-SC\">Bwana<\/span> Ninaweka tumaini langu\u201d (mstari wa 1). Katika sehemu nyingine, tunaambiwa kwamba \u201cmacho ya <span class=\"cLIN-SC\">Bwana<\/span> kukimbia huku na huko duniani kote, ili ajionyeshe kuwa hodari kwa ajili ya hao walio na moyo mkamilifu kwake\u201d (2 Nya. 16:9).<\/p><p>Mstari uliotangulia andiko la leo unatuagiza \u201cWakumbukeni wale waliowatawala, waliowaambia neno la Mungu, mkiifuata imani yenu, mkitafakari matokeo ya mwenendo wao\u201d (Ebr. 13:7). Wale waliotutangulia walitufundisha njia ya haki; maisha yao na mafundisho yao yalituelekeza kwa Yule Yule ambaye ni yule yule jana, leo, na milele. Kama William MacDonald alivyosema, \u201cKiini cha mafundisho yao kilikuwa hivi: Yesu ni yule yule jana, leo, na milele. Lengo la maisha yao lilikuwa Yesu, yule yule jana, leo, na milele. Msingi wa ujumbe wao ulikuwa kwamba Yesu ndiye Kristo, jana, leo, na milele.\u201d<\/p><p>Ingekuwaje kuwa na lengo moja kama hilo kwa maisha yetu! Lakini tunalo! Bwana Yesu Kristo ndiye lengo la roho zetu. Hiki ndicho tulichokuwa tumekikabidhi kwetu! Ujumbe haujabadilika; ni uleule kwa sababu Yeye hajabadilika na ni yule yule, jana, leo, na hata milele!
