Kukabiliana na Kifo kwa Matumaini<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Kwa maana tukiishi, tunaishi kwa ajili ya Bwana; na tukifa, tunakufa kwa ajili ya Bwana. Kwa hiyo, kama tukiishi au tukifa, sisi ni wa Bwana.
<\/em>Warumi 14:8<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/div>

Tumaini tulilonalo kama wafuasi wa Yesu Kristo linapaswa kuwa na athari katika kila eneo la maisha yetu, ikiwa ni pamoja na jinsi tunavyoona kifo. Mtume Paulo angeweza kusema, \u201cKwa maana kwangu mimi, kuishi ni Kristo, na kufa ni faida\u201d (Flp. 1:21). Kwa wengine, kifo kinatarajiwa, huku kwa wengine kikija bila kutarajiwa. Kwa sababu dhambi iliingia ulimwenguni, kifo ni sehemu ya maisha. Lakini kwa wale ambao wamegundua kuwa ni wenye dhambi, na wamemjia Mungu kupitia Mwanawe mpendwa, Bwana Yesu, kifo ni chombo tu kinachotupeleka mbele ya Bwana wetu aliyebarikiwa! Kwa sababu ya tumaini katika Kristo, kifo kinaonekana kama mwanzo, si mwisho! Kwa kuwa Kristo ameshinda kifo (1 Kor. 15:20\u201328), tumaini tulilonalo kwake linatupa ujasiri wa kutoogopa. Akiwa amelala kitandani mwake cha mauti, Mpuritani John Owen aliandika, "Mimi bado niko katika nchi ya wanaokufa, lakini natumaini hivi karibuni kuwa katika nchi ya walio hai."\u201c<\/p>

Daudi angetukumbusha kila mmoja wetu kwamba kifo ni kivuli tu (Zab. 23:4), ambayo ina maana kwamba nuru ipo. Nuru iliyopo kwa kila mwamini ni Bwana Yesu Kristo. Mwamini ni wa Kristo katika uzima, na mwamini ni wa Kristo katika mauti! Hili ndilo tumaini ambalo ametupatia kila mmoja wetu alipotoa maisha yake kwa ajili yetu, badala yetu, msalabani.
