Mtazamo wetu kuelekea Kitabu hiki utaamua ukuaji wa kiroho wa kila mmoja wetu.<\/p>

William Tyndale alitoa maisha yake kwa ajili ya Kitabu hiki alipochomwa moto kwa kushikilia ukweli unaopatikana katika Biblia. Alikufa akiwa na umri wa miaka arobaini na miwili pekee mnamo Oktoba 6, 1536. Maneno yake ya mwisho yalikuwa sehemu ya nukuu kutoka Zaburi 119:18\u2014\u201c"Fungua macho yangu, nipate kuona mambo ya ajabu kutoka katika sheria yako"\u201d<\/em>\u2014isipokuwa kwamba Tyndale aliomba, \u201c"Mfungue macho Mfalme wa Uingereza, apate kuona mambo ya ajabu kutoka katika sheria yako."\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Ombi lake lilijibiwa miaka miwili baadaye Mfalme Henry VIII alipoamuru kwamba Biblia iliyotafsiriwa na Miles Coverdale itumike katika kila parokia nchini Uingereza. Biblia ya Coverdale ilitegemea sana kazi ya William Tyndale, na mnamo 1539, Biblia ya Tyndale ilichapishwa.<\/p>

Mtunga Zaburi alisema, \u201c"Neno lako ni taa ya miguu yangu na mwanga wa njia yangu"\u201d<\/em> (Zab. 119:105). Katika Zaburi ya 19, tunaona moja kwa moja mtazamo wa Daudi kuelekea Neno la Mungu ulikuwaje. Soma Zaburi hiyo na utambue kwamba kuna majina sita ya Neno la Mungu, maelezo sita ya maana yake, na athari sita za kile kinachofanya. Ni muhimu kuona jinsi mtunga-zaburi anavyotueleza ukweli huu.<\/p>

Tunahitaji kuwa na mtazamo uleule kuelekea Maandiko kama Yeremia alivyokuwa nao. Alisema, \u201c"Maneno yako yalipatikana, nami nikayala; na neno lako lilikuwa kwangu furaha na shangwe ya moyo wangu ..."\u201d<\/em> (Yer. 15:16).<\/p>
