Ni vema kumshukuru BWANA, na kuimba sifa kwa jina lako, Ee Uliye Juu. <\/em>
Zaburi 92:1<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

Maandiko yanatufundisha kumshukuru Bwana kwa mambo mengi. Tunapaswa kumshukuru kwa jinsi alivyo. Zaburi 30:4 inasema, \u201c"Mwimbieni Bwana sifa, enyi watakatifu wake, na mshukuruni kwa ukumbusho wa jina lake takatifu."\u201d<\/em> Tunapaswa kumshukuru kwa sababu Yeye yuko karibu nasi kila wakati: \u201c"Tunakushukuru, Ee Mungu, tunakushukuru! Kwa maana matendo yako ya ajabu yanatangaza kwamba jina lako liko karibu."\u201d <\/em>Zaburi 75:1<\/p>

Paulo alimshukuru Mungu kwa wokovu wake na kwa pendeleo la kumtumikia: \u201c"Nami namshukuru Kristo Yesu Bwana wetu, aliyenitia nguvu kwa sababu aliniona kuwa mwaminifu, akaniweka katika utumishi wake, ingawa hapo awali nalikuwa mtukanaji, mtesaji, na mjeuri; lakini nalipata rehema kwa sababu nalitenda hivyo kwa ujinga, kwa kutokuwa na imani."\u201d<\/em> 1 Timotheo 1:12\u201313<\/p>

Paulo pia alishukuru kwa ukuaji wa kiroho aliouona kwa wengine: \u201c"Ndugu, imetupasa kumshukuru Mungu sikuzote kwa ajili yenu, kama ipasavyo, kwa sababu imani yenu inakua sana, na upendo wa kila mmoja wenu kwa mwenzake unaongezeka."\u201d<\/em> 2 Wathesalonike 1:3<\/p>

Jambo moja ambalo sisi kama Wakristo hatupaswi kamwe kulisahau\u2014na tunapaswa kushukuru kwa ajili yake kila wakati\u2014ni Utu na kazi ya Kristo. Katika 2 Wakorintho 9:15, Paulo anasema, \u201c"Shukrani kwa Mungu kwa zawadi yake isiyoelezeka!"\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Lakini sababu nyingine ni nzuri kumshukuru Bwana ni kwa sababu ya kile ambacho shukrani hufanya ndani yetu<\/em>: shukrani hutufanya tuwe na shukrani, na shukrani ni jambo jema na la lazima. Kila siku ni siku ya kumshukuru Mungu. Ni vizuri kuishi kama watu wenye shukrani. Kitendo cha kimwili, cha maneno cha kusema, \u201c"Asante, Bwana,"\u201d<\/em> hutuweka katika njia ya shukrani. Tunakuwa watu wanaoshukuru \u201ckatika kila jambo.\u201d 1 Wathesalonike 5:18<\/p>
