Katika sura hii, Nehemia anasimulia historia ya Israeli, na katika mstari wa leo, anakumbuka hasa kile tunachokipata katika Hesabu 14.<\/em> Ingawa tunaona kushindwa kwa Israeli kuamini na kutii, tunajifunza pia jambo fulani kuhusu Mungu wetu! Hata waliposhindwa kumfuata Mungu wao, alibaki mwaminifu, kwa maana hawezi kujikana mwenyewe. Hiki ndicho Paulo alichomwandikia Timotheo katika 2 Timotheo 2:13.<\/em> Mstari wa leo unatukumbusha asili na tabia ya Mungu wetu. Pia unatuhakikishia kwamba kushindwa kamwe si mwisho. Hatupaswi kamwe kusahau Mungu wetu ni nani\u2014Yeye ni yule yule jana, leo, na hata milele. Yeye ni Bwana, wala habadiliki (Malaki 3:6; Waebrania 13:8<\/em>).<\/p>

Labda uko katika hali ya kushindwa. Labda umepotoka kutoka kwa Bwana. Kumbuka "Lakini Mungu" wa leo. Inatuambia kuhusu uaminifu wake. Kumbuka, \u201c"Tukiziungama dhambi zetu, Yeye ni mwaminifu na wa haki hata atuondolee dhambi zetu na kutusafisha na udhalimu wote"\u201d<\/em> (1 Yohana 1:9<\/em>).<\/p>
