Kisha Yeremia akawaambia: \u201cNimewapenda kwa upendo wa milele\u201d (Yeremia 31:3).<\/p><p>Mungu alikuwa ameonyesha upendo wake kwao kwa kuwachagua kuliko wazao wa Esau, kwa kuwasaidia kurudi na kujenga mahali palipo ukiwa, na kwa kuwaruhusu kuona ukuu wake ukionyeshwa kwa wengine nje ya mipaka ya Israeli (Malaki 1:2-5). Haya yote, na bado waliuliza, \u201cUmetupenda kwa njia gani?\u201d<\/p><p>Sisi si tofauti leo. Mambo mengine mengi yalikuwa yameingia kiasi kwamba mapenzi yao kwa Kristo yalikuwa yametoweka. Hiki ndicho kilichotokea kwa Yuda katika siku za Malaki. Wakitafuta baraka za kimwili kama uthibitisho wa upendo wa Mungu, wakawa vipofu kwa yote aliyoyafanya.
