At\u00e9 sete vezes?\u2019 Jesus respondeu: \u2018Eu lhe digo: n\u00e3o at\u00e9 sete vezes, mas at\u00e9 setenta vezes sete.\u2019\u201d<br \/><strong>Mateus 18:21-22<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>Em Mateus 18, nosso Senhor n\u00e3o apenas nos deu um modelo de como lidar com aqueles que nos ofenderam, mas tamb\u00e9m nos apresentou um modelo de perd\u00e3o. Pedro fez uma pergunta que talvez muitos de n\u00f3s j\u00e1 tenhamos nos feito: Quantas vezes devo perdoar algu\u00e9m que pecou contra mim? Pedro pensou que sete vezes seria paci\u00eancia suficiente para demonstrar ao ofensor. Mas o Senhor responde: n\u00e3o sete vezes, mas setenta vezes sete. Quando Pedro ouviu 490, ele deve ter pensado: \u201cQuem poderia contar tantas ofensas?\u201d. Mas esse \u00e9 o ponto! Quando voc\u00ea perdoa algu\u00e9m tantas vezes, voc\u00ea adquire o h\u00e1bito de perdoar!<\/p><p>Para ilustrar Seu ponto, nosso Senhor conta uma par\u00e1bola sobre um servo que devia uma grande quantia a um rei. Ele n\u00e3o podia pagar sua d\u00edvida, e o rei pretendia tomar posse dele, de sua fam\u00edlia e de tudo o que ele havia vendido para quit\u00e1-la. O homem implorou ao rei que tivesse paci\u00eancia com ele e prometeu pagar sua d\u00edvida. O rei mostrou compaix\u00e3o e at\u00e9 mesmo perdoou sua d\u00edvida. Mas ent\u00e3o esse servo saiu e prendeu algu\u00e9m que lhe devia uma quantia muito menor em compara\u00e7\u00e3o. Quando o rei soube o que esse homem havia feito, mandou entreg\u00e1-lo aos torturadores.<\/p><p>Esta par\u00e1bola n\u00e3o \u00e9 sobre salva\u00e7\u00e3o, mas sobre perdoar uns aos outros! Ela nos lembra que fomos perdoados de uma d\u00edvida que jamais poder\u00edamos pagar e que devemos estar dispostos a perdoar as d\u00edvidas dos outros. Pecamos contra um Deus santo e justo, mas Ele demonstrou o Seu amor por n\u00f3s ao morrer em nosso favor quando ainda \u00e9ramos pecadores! Devemos perdoar uns aos outros.<\/p><p>Outra li\u00e7\u00e3o a tirar desta par\u00e1bola \u00e9 que o servo implac\u00e1vel foi entregue aos torturadores. O pior tipo de pris\u00e3o \u00e9 um cora\u00e7\u00e3o rancoroso! Quando nos recusamos a perdoar, aprisionamo-nos a n\u00f3s mesmos e infligimos a n\u00f3s mesmos tormentos desnecess\u00e1rios. Pessoas rancorosas podem se tornar algumas das pessoas mais miser\u00e1veis e infelizes. Mas aqueles que aprendem a perdoar, assim como n\u00f3s fomos perdoados, s\u00e3o pessoas libertas, cheias de alegria e paz porque se tornaram imitadores de Deus: \u201cSejam bondosos e compassivos uns para com os outros, perdoando-se mutuamente, assim como Deus os perdoou em Cristo.
