Isso significa que Ele \u00e9 o Governante supremo do universo e que pode fazer o que Lhe apraz. E, como Deus tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 justo, tudo o que Lhe apraz \u00e9 perfeito e sempre correto. O Senhor declara por meio do profeta Isa\u00edas: \u201cO meu conselho permanecer\u00e1 firme, e farei toda a minha vontade\u201d (Isa\u00edas 46:10). Depois de Nabucodonosor ter sido disciplinado pelo Senhor, ele proclamou: \u201cEle age segundo a sua vontade no ex\u00e9rcito do c\u00e9u e entre os habitantes da terra. Ningu\u00e9m pode impedir a sua m\u00e3o, nem lhe dizer: \u2018Que fizeste?'\u201d (Daniel 4:35). Em Romanos 9:20, Paulo nos lembra que n\u00e3o temos o direito de questionar as a\u00e7\u00f5es de Deus: \u201cMas, eis que tu, \u00f3 homem, quem \u00e9s tu para questionar a Deus? Acaso o objeto formado dir\u00e1 ao que o formou: \u2018Por que me fizeste assim?'\u201d. O ap\u00f3stolo tamb\u00e9m declara que Deus \u00e9 aquele \u201cque faz todas as coisas segundo o conselho da sua vontade\u201d (Ef\u00e9sios 1:11).<\/p><p>Os profetas Isa\u00edas e Jeremias falam de Deus como o Mestre Oleiro (Isa\u00edas 29:16; 45:9; 64:8; Jeremias 18:6). Se Ele \u00e9 o Oleiro, e Ele \u00e9, ent\u00e3o voc\u00ea e eu somos o barro! Ele tem direitos sobre n\u00f3s pela cria\u00e7\u00e3o e pela reden\u00e7\u00e3o. Devemos nos submeter a Ele em todas as circunst\u00e2ncias, jamais duvidando de Seu cuidado, preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o e amor pelo vaso que Ele est\u00e1 formando. A verdade de Sua soberania em minha vida permite que Ele me molde como bem entender, sem que eu questione Suas decis\u00f5es.<\/p><p>A doutrina de Sua soberania tamb\u00e9m nos conforta nos momentos de press\u00e3o, pois sabemos que, sendo Ele o Soberano Supremo, est\u00e1 cumprindo Seus prop\u00f3sitos, que ser\u00e3o alcan\u00e7ados. Ele come\u00e7ou a obra em Seu vaso e a completar\u00e1 (Filipenses 1:6).
