Mas em G\u00eanesis 16:1-2, lemos que Sarai arquitetou seu pr\u00f3prio plano para cumprir a vontade de Deus. Ela n\u00e3o estava disposta a esperar por Deus durante o tempo de sil\u00eancio. Quantas vezes as circunst\u00e2ncias nos levam a confiar em nosso pr\u00f3prio entendimento em vez de confiar no Senhor de todo o cora\u00e7\u00e3o (Prov\u00e9rbios 3:5-7) quando Ele parece estar em sil\u00eancio? Como \u00e9 f\u00e1cil tomar as r\u00e9deas da situa\u00e7\u00e3o em vez de reconhec\u00ea-Lo em todos os nossos caminhos e permitir que Ele guie nossas veredas!<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">A verdadeira trag\u00e9dia n\u00e3o foi apenas o adult\u00e9rio, mas tamb\u00e9m a independ\u00eancia, a d\u00favida e a obstina\u00e7\u00e3o deles. O pecado deles deu in\u00edcio \u00e0 guerra mais longa da hist\u00f3ria! Esse conflito entre os israelitas, descendentes de Isaque, e os \u00e1rabes, descendentes de Ismael, continua at\u00e9 hoje. A Terra Santa permanece um ponto cr\u00edtico por causa dessa decis\u00e3o equivocada tomada por duas pessoas h\u00e1 quase 4.000 anos! O pecado deles causou animosidade entre Sarai e Agar e entre Sarai e Abra\u00e3o (G\u00eanesis 16:4-5). Imagine como tudo teria sido melhor se eles tivessem esperado no Senhor. Qu\u00e3o mais pac\u00edfico o mundo poderia ter sido!<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Em Marcos 4:35-41, vemos os disc\u00edpulos no barco com o Senhor quando uma grande tempestade se levantou. As ondas batiam no barco e o vento os sacudia violentamente. Todos n\u00f3s j\u00e1 passamos por tempestades assim na vida. Parece n\u00e3o haver esperan\u00e7a, nenhuma luz nas nuvens escuras. Mas observe algo que se destaca nesta hist\u00f3ria: o Senhor estava no barco com eles! Os disc\u00edpulos estavam com tanto medo que at\u00e9 perguntaram: \u201cMestre, n\u00e3o te importas que pere\u00e7amos?\u201d. Se formos honestos, j\u00e1 nos sentimos assim tamb\u00e9m! Mas precisamos lembrar que, durante a tempestade mais escura, Jesus \u00e9 o Senhor da tempestade! Firme-se nEle, n\u00e3o nas suas circunst\u00e2ncias. Ele \u00e9 capaz de acalmar a tempestade em sua vida neste exato momento. Confie nEle!<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">No Antigo Testamento, lemos sobre um per\u00edodo na vida de Eliseu em que ele e seu jovem servo estavam cercados por for\u00e7as inimigas (2 Reis 6:8-17). As probabilidades estavam completamente contra eles! Suas circunst\u00e2ncias eram sombrias, sem nenhuma esperan\u00e7a aparente. Mas Eliseu confiou no Senhor, depositando toda a sua confian\u00e7a naquele que estava ao seu lado! \u201cSe Deus \u00e9 por n\u00f3s, quem ser\u00e1 contra n\u00f3s?\u201d (Romanos 8:31).<\/p><p><strong>\u00c2ncora de hoje:<\/strong><br \/>Que possamos aprender a confiar Nele e esperar por Ele, mesmo quando Ele parece estar em
