Farei uma alian\u00e7a entre mim e voc\u00ea e o multiplicarei grandemente.\u2019\u201d<br \/>G\u00eanesis 17:1-2<\/em><\/p><p>Esta \u00e9 a quinta vez que lemos que o Senhor apareceu a Abr\u00e3o, mas a \u00faltima vez que Deus falou com ele, segundo o registro, foi treze anos antes. Abr\u00e3o havia experimentado o Senhor ao come\u00e7ar a andar pela f\u00e9 nos cap\u00edtulos 12\u201313. Ele havia aprendido a import\u00e2ncia de confiar em seu Deus nos cap\u00edtulos 14\u201315, enquanto guerreava pela f\u00e9. Mas agora, nos cap\u00edtulos 16\u201317, Abr\u00e3o e sua esposa est\u00e3o achando dif\u00edcil esperar no Senhor pela f\u00e9. Deus havia prometido a terra a Abr\u00e3o e seus descendentes, mas eles estavam envelhecendo e ainda n\u00e3o tinham filhos. No cap\u00edtulo 16, Sarai faz o que muitas vezes fazemos: toma as r\u00e9deas da situa\u00e7\u00e3o. Ela entrega sua serva eg\u00edpcia, Agar, a Abr\u00e3o, mas isso s\u00f3 cria mais problemas!<\/p><p>Muitas vezes, surgem circunst\u00e2ncias em nossas vidas em que tentamos resolver as coisas por conta pr\u00f3pria, e s\u00f3 complicamos a situa\u00e7\u00e3o. O Senhor n\u00e3o quer que confiemos em nossa pr\u00f3pria engenhosidade ou for\u00e7a. Ele deseja que acreditemos que nada \u00e9 dif\u00edcil demais para Ele e que Ele \u00e9 capaz de transformar um obst\u00e1culo em uma oportunidade para manifestar a Sua gl\u00f3ria!<\/p><p>O Senhor se revela a Abr\u00e3o como o Deus Todo-Poderoso. Esse nome \u00e9 composto por duas palavras: El, que fala de poder, e Shaddai, que carrega a ideia combinada de todo poder e toda sufici\u00eancia. O Senhor estava prestes a dizer a Abr\u00e3o que Sarai teria um filho, mesmo aos noventa anos de idade! Abr\u00e3o, Sarai e todos os outros pensavam que o ventre dela estava morto, mas o Senhor estava prestes a fazer o imposs\u00edvel. Ele era mais do que suficiente para realizar um nascimento milagroso!<\/p><p>Assim como fez com Abr\u00e3o, o Senhor \u00e9 capaz de se revelar a n\u00f3s por meio de Sua Palavra exatamente da maneira que precisamos. Se voc\u00ea est\u00e1 diante de uma decis\u00e3o importante ou se encontra em um impasse intranspon\u00edvel, n\u00e3o se precipite. Espere que Ele revele Seu poder e majestade! Abr\u00e3o foi instru\u00eddo a andar na presen\u00e7a do Senhor e ser irrepreens\u00edvel. Paulo nos lembra: \u201cAquele que nem mesmo a seu pr\u00f3prio Filho poupou, antes o entregou por todos n\u00f3s, como n\u00e3o nos dar\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m com ele todas as coisas?\u201d (Romanos 8:32).
