Eu sou o seu escudo, a sua recompensa grand\u00edssima.&#039;\u2018<br \/>G\u00eanesis 15:1<\/em><\/p><p>No cap\u00edtulo quatorze, Abra\u00e3o acabara de vivenciar duas grandes vit\u00f3rias. Primeiro, ele resgatou L\u00f3 e, em seguida, resistiu \u00e0 tenta\u00e7\u00e3o do rei de Sodoma. Ele foi capaz de fazer ambas as coisas confiando em seu Deus e desfrutando dos recursos que lhe foram providenciados por Melquisedeque, rei de Sal\u00e9m, que \u00e9 uma figura do Senhor Jesus.<\/p><p>Ap\u00f3s esses acontecimentos, a palavra do Senhor veio a Abr\u00e3o, preparando-o para outros tipos de conflito, que seriam mais uma luta interior, um tempo de \u201chorror e grandes trevas\u201d (v. 12). Os eventos preditos nos vers\u00edculos 13-14 se cumpriram em G\u00eanesis 46 e ao longo do livro de \u00caxodo, quando a na\u00e7\u00e3o de Israel se tornou estrangeira no Egito.<\/p><p>Muitas vezes, ap\u00f3s grandes vit\u00f3rias, o inimigo ataca explorando d\u00favidas, medos e incertezas. Mas vemos em nosso vers\u00edculo como o Senhor encoraja Abr\u00e3o por meio de Sua Palavra, dizendo: \u201cN\u00e3o tenha medo\u2026 Eu sou o seu escudo, a sua recompensa grand\u00edssima\u201d. O Senhor queria que Abr\u00e3o confiasse Nele \u2014 n\u00e3o em suas vit\u00f3rias e n\u00e3o em suas pr\u00f3prias habilidades. Abr\u00e3o acabara de recusar os presentes do rei de Sodoma, que \u00e9 uma representa\u00e7\u00e3o deste mundo. A f\u00e9 que vence o medo \u00e9 a f\u00e9 que se apoia na Palavra de Deus! A Palavra do Senhor vem neste momento e diz: \u201cN\u00e3o tenha medo\u201d. Esta \u00e9 a primeira vez que essas palavras s\u00e3o ditas nas Escrituras, mas elas s\u00e3o repetidas in\u00fameras vezes.<\/p><p>O rem\u00e9dio de Deus para o nosso medo \u00e9 nos lembrar de quem Ele \u00e9: \u201cEu sou o teu escudo, a tua grand\u00edssima recompensa!\u201d Ele \u00e9 o grande EU SOU, e Ele \u00e9 suficiente para suprir todas as nossas necessidades e dissipar todas as nossas d\u00favidas. Precisamos apenas aquietar-nos e saber que Ele \u00e9 Deus!<\/p><p>Ele tamb\u00e9m assegurou a Abr\u00e3o que era seu escudo de prote\u00e7\u00e3o e sua imensa recompensa pela provis\u00e3o. Como nosso Escudo, Ele \u00e9 capaz de extinguir todos os dardos inflamados da d\u00favida e do medo que se lan\u00e7am em nosso caminho. Devemos erguer o escudo da f\u00e9 para alcan\u00e7ar a vit\u00f3ria, e Ele ser\u00e1 o nosso Escudo. Mas n\u00e3o s\u00f3 isso, Ele \u00e9 capaz de substituir todos os nossos medos e d\u00favidas pela Sua provis\u00e3o para o caminho. A provis\u00e3o com a qual Ele quer que nos ocupemos \u00e9 Ele mesmo. Ele \u00e9 a nossa imensa recompensa!
