Pois a lei foi dada por meio de Mois\u00e9s; a gra\u00e7a e a verdade vieram por meio de Jesus Cristo.\u2018<br \/><strong>Jo\u00e3o 1:15-17<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>No vers\u00edculo 14, vimos que a mensagem final de Deus para a humanidade veio na forma de um Homem. \u00c9-nos dito que Jo\u00e3o testemunhou a respeito deste Homem e declarou: \u201cAquele que vem depois de mim \u00e9 superior a mim, porque j\u00e1 existia antes de mim\u201d. Jo\u00e3o nasceu seis meses antes do Senhor Jesus (Lucas 1:36), mas ele n\u00e3o estava falando da ordem f\u00edsica das coisas. Ele se referia claramente \u00e0 preexist\u00eancia eterna do Senhor Jesus. Como Filho de Deus e Verbo Eterno, o Senhor Jesus existia muito antes de Jo\u00e3o sequer ser concebido.<\/p><p>Entendemos que a gra\u00e7a \u00e9 o favor imerecido de Deus para conosco, mesmo que n\u00e3o mere\u00e7amos nada. Nossos vers\u00edculos continuam nos dizendo que aqueles que creem no Senhor Jesus receberam gra\u00e7a da Sua plenitude. N\u00e3o h\u00e1 fim para a Sua plenitude. Ele continuamente nos derrama sobre n\u00f3s o Seu favor gracioso. \u00c9 gra\u00e7a sobre gra\u00e7a.<\/p><p>Imagine-se \u00e0 beira-mar, observando onda ap\u00f3s onda quebrar na costa. Essa \u00e9 a imagem que temos diante de n\u00f3s. A Sua gra\u00e7a transborda da Sua infinita plenitude, e n\u00e3o h\u00e1 fim para ela. \u00c9 gra\u00e7a sobre gra\u00e7a.<\/p><p>A Lei dizia ao homem o que era certo, mas n\u00e3o lhe dava poder para cumprir as justas exig\u00eancias de um Deus santo. Mas a gra\u00e7a e a verdade \u2014 o equil\u00edbrio perfeito \u2014 vieram por meio do Homem perfeito e proporcionaram a salva\u00e7\u00e3o de que tanto precis\u00e1vamos: \u201cPois \u00e9 pela gra\u00e7a que voc\u00eas foram salvos, mediante a f\u00e9, e isto n\u00e3o vem de voc\u00eas, \u00e9 dom de Deus; n\u00e3o de obras, para que ningu\u00e9m se glorie\u201d (Ef\u00e9sios 2:8-9).<\/p><p>Voc\u00ea e eu n\u00e3o apenas somos salvos por essa gra\u00e7a, mas tamb\u00e9m somos separados por ela para que possamos viver para a gl\u00f3ria de Deus.<\/p><p>A mensagem de Deus para n\u00f3s \u00e9 que, por meio de Sua gra\u00e7a, podemos ser salvos para a eternidade, separados para a Sua gl\u00f3ria e servi-Lo como testemunho para um mundo que perece. Isso s\u00f3 \u00e9 poss\u00edvel pela gra\u00e7a.<\/p><p><strong>\u00c2ncora de hoje:<\/strong><br \/>Reserve um momento hoje para meditar sobre a inesgot\u00e1vel gra\u00e7a de Deus, que Ele continuamente derrama sobre n\u00f3s, realizando por n\u00f3s o que jamais poder\u00edamos fazer por n\u00f3s mesmos.
