A minha sabedoria permaneceu comigo. Tudo o que os meus olhos desejaram, eu n\u00e3o lhes neguei. N\u00e3o privei o meu cora\u00e7\u00e3o de nenhum prazer, pois o meu cora\u00e7\u00e3o se alegrava em todo o meu trabalho; e esta foi a minha recompensa por todo o meu trabalho. Ent\u00e3o, olhei para todas as obras que as minhas m\u00e3os tinham feito e para o trabalho em que eu tinha me esfor\u00e7ado; e eis que tudo era vaidade e correr atr\u00e1s do vento. N\u00e3o havia proveito algum debaixo do sol.\u201d<br \/><strong>Eclesiastes 2:9-11<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>Salom\u00e3o era um homem em busca de satisfa\u00e7\u00e3o e contentamento. Ele havia experimentado de tudo. Nos dois primeiros cap\u00edtulos de Eclesiastes, Salom\u00e3o descreve a inquieta\u00e7\u00e3o da vida (1:4-11), testa todos os prazeres da vida (1:12-2:11) e conclui examinando o prop\u00f3sito da vida (2:12-23).<\/p><p>Resumindo sua busca, Salom\u00e3o declara que as atividades da vida s\u00e3o vazias quando Deus \u00e9 deixado de lado:<\/p><p>\u201cNada \u00e9 melhor para o homem do que comer e beber, e que a sua alma desfrute do bem do seu trabalho. Tamb\u00e9m isto, vi, vem da m\u00e3o de Deus. Pois quem pode comer, ou quem pode desfrutar, mais do que eu? Porque Deus d\u00e1 sabedoria, conhecimento e alegria ao homem que \u00e9 bom aos seus olhos; mas ao pecador d\u00e1 o trabalho de ajuntar e recolher, para que o d\u00ea ao que \u00e9 bom diante de Deus. Tamb\u00e9m isto \u00e9 vaidade e correr atr\u00e1s do vento\u201d (Eclesiastes 2:24-26).<\/p><p>O livro de Eclesiastes descreve a busca de Salom\u00e3o pelo verdadeiro significado da vida debaixo do sol. Ao refletir sobre sua vida, ele conclui que a vida sem Deus \u00e9 completamente vazia. Ao lermos os dois primeiros cap\u00edtulos deste livro, percebemos a desesperan\u00e7a da humanidade longe de Deus:<\/p><p>\u201cUma gera\u00e7\u00e3o passa, e outra gera\u00e7\u00e3o vem; mas a terra permanece para sempre\u201d (Eclesiastes 1:4).<\/p><p>Na mente de Salom\u00e3o \u2014 e na mente de muitas pessoas hoje em dia \u2014 as pessoas v\u00eam e v\u00e3o, mas o mundo simplesmente continua girando. O sol nasce e o sol se p\u00f5e (Eclesiastes 1:5). Ent\u00e3o, qual \u00e9 o prop\u00f3sito da vida? Tudo parece f\u00fatil e frustrante porque a verdadeira realiza\u00e7\u00e3o e satisfa\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o podem ser encontradas nas coisas deste mundo.<\/p><p>Salom\u00e3o examina suas conquistas, sua riqueza, sua sabedoria e seu trabalho, mas ainda sente que deseja mais. Ele anseia por um prop\u00f3sito mais profundo para sua exist\u00eancia.<\/p><p><strong>\u00c2ncora de hoje:<\/strong><br \/>A verdadeira vida abundante s\u00f3 pode vir de Deus por meio do Senhor Jesus Cristo, que declarou: &quot;Eu vim para que tenham vida e a tenham em abund\u00e2ncia&quot; (Jo\u00e3o 10:10).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Searching For Satisfaction \u201cSo I became great and excelled more than all who were before me in Jerusalem.
