A mundanidade \u00e9 inimiga da piedade.<\/p><p>Sabemos que o crist\u00e3o tem tr\u00eas inimigos principais: o mundo, a carne e o diabo. Muitas vezes se destaca que a carne luta contra o Esp\u00edrito (G\u00e1latas 5:17), enquanto o diabo se op\u00f5e diretamente ao Senhor Jesus Cristo, e o sistema mundano se op\u00f5e \u00e0 justi\u00e7a de Deus.<\/p><p>Tiago nos lembra: \u201cVoc\u00eas n\u00e3o sabem que a amizade com o mundo \u00e9 inimizade com Deus? Portanto, quem quiser ser amigo do mundo torna-se inimigo de Deus\u201d (Tiago 4:4). O ap\u00f3stolo Jo\u00e3o, j\u00e1 idoso, acrescenta: \u201cN\u00e3o amem o mundo nem o que nele h\u00e1. Se algu\u00e9m ama o mundo, o amor do Pai n\u00e3o est\u00e1 nele. Pois tudo o que h\u00e1 no mundo \u2014 a cobi\u00e7a da carne, a cobi\u00e7a dos olhos e a ostenta\u00e7\u00e3o dos bens \u2014 n\u00e3o prov\u00e9m do Pai, mas do mundo. O mundo e a sua cobi\u00e7a passam, mas aquele que faz a vontade de Deus permanece para sempre\u201d (1 Jo\u00e3o 2:15-17).<\/p><p>\u00c9 importante entendermos que a mundanidade n\u00e3o se refere tanto \u00e0s nossas atividades \u2014 o que fazemos e onde fazemos \u2014 mas sim \u00e0s nossas atitudes. \u00c9 poss\u00edvel que um crist\u00e3o se mantenha afastado de divers\u00f5es question\u00e1veis e lugares duvidosos e ainda assim ame o mundo. A mundanidade \u00e9, primordialmente, uma quest\u00e3o do cora\u00e7\u00e3o que afeta tanto nossos afetos quanto nossas ambi\u00e7\u00f5es. Ela afeta nosso cora\u00e7\u00e3o em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 nossa resposta ao amor de Deus e afeta nossas a\u00e7\u00f5es em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 nossa obedi\u00eancia \u00e0 vontade de Deus.<\/p><p>Devemos lembrar que o Senhor Jesus \u201cse entregou a si mesmo pelos nossos pecados, para nos livrar do presente s\u00e9culo mau, segundo a vontade de nosso Deus e Pai\u201d (G\u00e1latas 1:4).<\/p><p>Na busca pela piedade, tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 \u00fatil lembrar que este mundo est\u00e1 atualmente \u2014 mas apenas temporariamente \u2014 sob o dom\u00ednio do maligno (Ef\u00e9sios 2:2; 6:12; Jo\u00e3o 12:31; 14:30; 16:11). Como crentes em Cristo, \u201co mundo est\u00e1 crucificado para mim, e eu para o mundo\u201d (G\u00e1latas 6:14), e devemos \u201cnos manter puros e irrepreens\u00edveis diante do mundo\u201d (Tiago 1:27).<\/p><p>A mundanidade se insinua gradualmente em nossas vidas: primeiro atrav\u00e9s da amizade com o mundo (Tiago 4:4), depois ao sermos contaminados por ele (Tiago 1:27) e, finalmente, ao nos conformarmos a ele (Romanos 12:1-2).<\/p><p><strong>\u00c2ncora de hoje:<\/strong><br \/>A mundanidade \u00e9 inimiga da piedade.
