\u201cMas o fruto do Esp\u00edrito \u00e9 amor, alegria, paz, longanimidade, amabilidade, bondade, fidelidade, mansid\u00e3o e dom\u00ednio pr\u00f3prio. Contra essas coisas n\u00e3o h\u00e1 lei.\u201d
G\u00e1latas 5:22-23<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

A palavra "bom" \u00e9 usada em excesso na nossa sociedade atual. Usamo-la para descrever tudo, desde como nos sentimos at\u00e9 o tipo de pessoa que algu\u00e9m \u00e9. No entanto, o verdadeiro significado da palavra bondade<\/em> Tem a ver com a excel\u00eancia moral e espiritual que se expressa atrav\u00e9s da do\u00e7ura e da bondade ativa.<\/p>

A bondade \u00e9 mais do que simplesmente excel\u00eancia moral. Romanos 5:7 nos ajuda a entender isso: \u201cPois dificilmente algu\u00e9m morrer\u00e1 por um justo; embora por um bom homem talvez algu\u00e9m se dispusesse a morrer\u201d. Um crist\u00e3o pode ser moralmente \u00edntegro e, ainda assim, falhar em demonstrar esse aspecto da bondade, que se caracteriza pela preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o altru\u00edsta com os outros.<\/p>

Em Mateus 1:19, lemos: \u201cEnt\u00e3o Jos\u00e9, seu marido, sendo justo e n\u00e3o querendo exp\u00f4-la \u00e0 vergonha p\u00fablica, resolveu deix\u00e1-la secretamente\u201d. Jos\u00e9 presumia que Maria lhe havia sido infiel e, sendo um homem \u201cjusto\u201d ou \u201c\u00edntegro\u201d, acreditava que n\u00e3o poderia casar-se com ela. Contudo, ele tamb\u00e9m era um bom homem e, portanto, pretendia deix\u00e1-la em segredo, em vez de a desonrar publicamente.<\/p>

\u00c9 importante notarmos que a bondade \u00e9 outra caracter\u00edstica do pr\u00f3prio Deus. Ele \u00e9 \u201cabundante em bondade e verdade\u201d (\u00caxodo 34:6-7). O Salmo 100:5 declara: \u201cPorque o Senhor \u00e9 bom; a sua miseric\u00f3rdia dura para sempre, e a sua fidelidade, de gera\u00e7\u00e3o em gera\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d.\u201d<\/p>

Sempre que a palavra bom<\/em> Quando o termo "bom" \u00e9 usado para se referir a Deus, ele expressa o fato de que Ele \u00e9 intrinsecamente bom. No entanto, em outro lugar, o Senhor Jesus se autodenomina "o Bom Pastor" (Jo\u00e3o 10:11). Como Filho de Deus, Ele de fato \u00e9 bom.<\/p>

O Esp\u00edrito Santo deseja produzir essa caracter\u00edstica de Cristo em cada um de n\u00f3s. Somos instru\u00eddos a buscar oportunidades para fazer o bem (G\u00e1latas 6:10). Isso s\u00f3 pode ser realizado pelo poder do Esp\u00edrito de Deus, como Paulo orou pelos crentes em Tessal\u00f4nica: \u201cTamb\u00e9m oramos sempre por voc\u00eas, para que o nosso Deus os considere dignos da voca\u00e7\u00e3o que lhes fez e cumpra com poder todo o bom prop\u00f3sito da sua bondade e a obra da f\u00e9, para que o nome de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo seja glorificado em voc\u00eas, e voc\u00eas nele, segundo a gra\u00e7a de nosso Deus e do Senhor Jesus Cristo\u201d (2 Tessalonicenses 1:11-12).<\/span><\/p>
