\u201cMas o fruto do Esp\u00edrito \u00e9 amor, alegria, paz, longanimidade, amabilidade, bondade, fidelidade, mansid\u00e3o e dom\u00ednio pr\u00f3prio. Contra essas coisas n\u00e3o h\u00e1 lei.\u201d
G\u00e1latas 5:22-23<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

\u201cPor que as pessoas s\u00e3o t\u00e3o maldosas? O que aconteceu com a bondade?\u201d, perguntou a atendente do supermercado depois que o cliente \u00e0 minha frente foi muito grosseiro. Concordo com ela que a bondade \u00e9 algo que falta em nossa sociedade hoje em dia, mas deveria ser evidente na vida dos crist\u00e3os. N\u00e3o h\u00e1 realmente nenhuma raz\u00e3o para sermos grosseiros.<\/p>

A bondade \u00e9 uma das caracter\u00edsticas do pr\u00f3prio Deus. Ela est\u00e1 frequentemente ligada \u00e0 Sua miseric\u00f3rdia:<\/p>

\u201cE o Senhor passou diante dele e proclamou: \u2018O Senhor, o Senhor Deus, misericordioso e compassivo, long\u00e2nimo e rico em amor e fidelidade, que mant\u00e9m o seu amor por milhares e perdoa a iniquidade, a transgress\u00e3o e o pecado, mas n\u00e3o deixa impune o culpado; visita a iniquidade dos pais nos filhos e nos filhos dos filhos at\u00e9 a terceira e quarta gera\u00e7\u00e3o\u2019\u201d (\u00caxodo 34:6-7).<\/p><\/blockquote>

A bondade \u00e9 um dos aspectos do fruto do Esp\u00edrito que deve ser manifestado em nossas vidas. A palavra grega usada no Novo Testamento \u00e9 crestotes<\/em>, que transmite a ideia de uma terna preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o com os outros. \u00c9 um desejo genu\u00edno de tratar os outros com gentileza, assim como o Senhor nos tratou.<\/p>

Lemos sobre a bondade de Deus em Ef\u00e9sios 2:4-7:<\/p>

\u201c"Mas Deus, que \u00e9 rico em miseric\u00f3rdia, pelo grande amor com que nos amou, estando n\u00f3s ainda mortos em nossos pecados, nos deu vida juntamente com Cristo (pela gra\u00e7a voc\u00eas foram salvos), e nos ressuscitou com ele e nos fez assentar nos lugares celestiais em Cristo Jesus, para mostrar nos s\u00e9culos vindouros a suprema riqueza da sua gra\u00e7a, em bondade para conosco, em Cristo Jesus."\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>

Somos instru\u00eddos a \u201cser bondosos e compassivos uns para com os outros, perdoando-nos mutuamente, assim como Deus os perdoou em Cristo\u201d (Ef\u00e9sios 4:32). Paulo tamb\u00e9m lembrou a Tim\u00f3teo: \u201cO servo do Senhor n\u00e3o deve contender, mas sim ser am\u00e1vel para com todos, apto para ensinar e paciente\u201d (2 Tim\u00f3teo 2:24).<\/p>

Basta olharmos para a vida do Senhor Jesus como o exemplo perfeito de como a bondade deve ser. Ele sempre tinha tempo para demonstrar bondade ao leproso, que todos consideravam impuro (Mateus 8:1-4), ao cego, ao coxo e aos marginalizados.<\/p>

Lemos em Atos 10:38 que \u201cDeus ungiu Jesus de Nazar\u00e9 com o Esp\u00edrito Santo e com poder, o qual andou por toda parte fazendo o bem e curando todos os oprimidos pelo diabo, porque Deus estava com ele\u201d.\u201d<\/p>
