\u201cMas o fruto do Esp\u00edrito \u00e9 amor, alegria, paz, longanimidade, amabilidade, bondade, fidelidade, mansid\u00e3o e dom\u00ednio pr\u00f3prio. Contra essas coisas n\u00e3o h\u00e1 lei.\u201d
G\u00e1latas 5:22-23<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

A B\u00edblia tem muito a dizer sobre frutos. A palavra aparece mais de 100 vezes no Antigo Testamento e cerca de 70 vezes no Novo Testamento. Louvar ao Senhor (Hebreus 13:15), ganhar almas para Cristo (1 Cor\u00edntios 16:15) e praticar obras piedosas (Colossenses 1:10) s\u00e3o considerados formas de fruto. Mas quando Paulo, o Ap\u00f3stolo<\/span><\/span> Ao falar do fruto do Esp\u00edrito, ele se refere principalmente \u00e0s caracter\u00edsticas de Cristo sendo formadas no seguidor de Cristo.<\/p>\n

Podemos nos perguntar: como isso acontece? \u00c9 resultado de um esfor\u00e7o concentrado da minha parte como crist\u00e3o? Ser\u00e1 que acordo de manh\u00e3 dizendo: "Hoje vou produzir o fruto do Esp\u00edrito"? Produzir o fruto do Esp\u00edrito na minha vida tem muito pouco a ver com estar ocupado com o fruto em si, e tudo a ver com estar ocupado com Cristo.<\/p>\n

Devemos fixar nossos afetos e nossos pensamentos nas coisas do alto, onde Cristo est\u00e1 (Colossenses 3:1-2).<\/p>\n

\u201cPortanto, se voc\u00eas ressuscitaram com Cristo, busquem as coisas que s\u00e3o do alto, onde Cristo est\u00e1 assentado \u00e0 direita de Deus. Mantenham o pensamento nas coisas do alto, e n\u00e3o nas coisas terrenas\u2026 Mas agora, livrem-se de tudo isto: ira, indigna\u00e7\u00e3o, maldade, blasf\u00eamia e linguagem obscena\u2026 Portanto, como eleitos de Deus, santos e amados, revistam-se de profunda compaix\u00e3o, bondade, humildade, mansid\u00e3o e longanimidade\u201d (Colossenses 3:1-2, 8, 12).<\/p>\n

O mundo da sa\u00fade nos diz que somos o que comemos. Isso tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 verdade espiritualmente. \u00c0 medida que nos alimentamos de Cristo e nos ocupamos com Ele, o Esp\u00edrito de Deus opera para reproduzir a Sua semelhan\u00e7a em n\u00f3s. Essas nove qualidades s\u00e3o aspectos do fruto da piedade na vida do crente.<\/p>\n

Alguns tentaram dividir essas nove caracter\u00edsticas em grupos, dizendo que as tr\u00eas primeiras s\u00e3o voltadas para Deus, as tr\u00eas seguintes para os outros e as tr\u00eas \u00faltimas para si mesmas. Mas, na realidade, o Esp\u00edrito de Deus deseja que todas essas qualidades sejam evidentes em todas as \u00e1reas de nossas vidas, o tempo todo, para que Cristo seja tudo em todos (Colossenses 3:11).<\/p>\n
