A santifica\u00e7\u00e3o posicional refere-se ao fato objetivo de que Deus toma um pecador e o torna Seu filho \u00fanico. Ele separa os crentes como Seu povo especial. O uso do termo \u201csantifica\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d aqui se concentra na obra singular do Esp\u00edrito Santo, pela qual obedecemos ao evangelho pela f\u00e9, para que sejamos aspergidos pelo sangue de Cristo.<\/p><p>A santidade posicional refere-se \u00e0 nossa posi\u00e7\u00e3o diante de Deus como um povo peculiar. Esse aspecto da nossa santifica\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9, na verdade, o fundamento do que muitas vezes \u00e9 chamado de santifica\u00e7\u00e3o progressiva ou pr\u00e1tica.<\/p><p>A santifica\u00e7\u00e3o tem o prop\u00f3sito de desenvolver em n\u00f3s um car\u00e1ter semelhante ao de Cristo, produzindo obedi\u00eancia ao longo de nossas vidas. Era isso que Pedro tinha em mente com a frase \u201cpara a obedi\u00eancia e aspers\u00e3o do sangue de Jesus Cristo\u201d. Isso nos remete a \u00caxodo 13:2 e 24:3-8, onde a aspers\u00e3o representa a consagra\u00e7\u00e3o para o servi\u00e7o. A aspers\u00e3o se refere \u00e0 aplica\u00e7\u00e3o do sangue no Antigo Testamento para expiar o pecado. O prop\u00f3sito dos sacrif\u00edcios no Antigo Testamento n\u00e3o era simplesmente o derramamento de sangue, mas tamb\u00e9m a sua aplica\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p><p>O poder de viver uma vida de obedi\u00eancia a Cristo surge da compreens\u00e3o da obra que o Senhor Jesus Cristo j\u00e1 realizou.<\/p><p><strong>\u00c2ncora de hoje:<\/strong><br \/>O poder de viver para Cristo flui da nossa posi\u00e7\u00e3o em Cristo, e consiste em viver uma vida para a gl\u00f3ria de Deus, mesmo em meio \u00e0 oposi\u00e7\u00e3o que nos
