Assim aconteceu que, quando o rei ouviu as palavras da Lei, rasgou as suas vestes.<br \/><strong>2 Cr\u00f4nicas 34:15, 19<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div><div class=\"LIN-Text\"><p>Josias tornou-se rei muito jovem e durante um per\u00edodo muito sombrio, mas \u201cn\u00e3o se desviou nem para a direita nem para a esquerda\u201d (2 Cr\u00f4nicas 34:2). Ele foi muito equilibrado e n\u00e3o pendeu para nenhum extremo. Josias enfrentou divis\u00e3o, confus\u00e3o e todo tipo de maldade. Mas, durante aqueles dias sombrios, o que trouxe reavivamento \u00e0 terra foi a luz da Palavra de Deus.<\/p><p>O Livro da Lei foi encontrado; havia sido negligenciado, esquecido e perdido no templo. Talvez alguns o considerassem uma rel\u00edquia antiga e obsoleta; talvez por isso estivesse fora do lugar na casa do Senhor. De acordo com as ordens dadas a Josu\u00e9, este livro n\u00e3o deveria se afastar de sua boca. Eles deveriam estud\u00e1-lo e submeter-se a ele (Josu\u00e9 1:7-9). Todo novo rei, \u201cquando se assentar no trono do seu reino, [...] escrever\u00e1 para si uma c\u00f3pia desta lei num livro, a partir daquele que est\u00e1 diante dos sacerdotes, os levitas\u201d (Dt 17:18). Mas este livro havia sido negligenciado por algum tempo.<\/p><p>Voc\u00ea e eu vivemos em uma sociedade que, de muitas maneiras, negligenciou a Palavra de Deus. A B\u00edblia \u00e9 vista como uma rel\u00edquia religiosa ultrapassada, que n\u00e3o se aplica mais ao nosso contexto. Mas \u00e9 justamente essa neglig\u00eancia que explica por que nossas cidades, nossa na\u00e7\u00e3o e nosso mundo se encontram na situa\u00e7\u00e3o em que est\u00e3o. Muitos que se dizem crentes hoje em dia negligenciaram a Palavra de Deus. Frequentemente, a B\u00edblia \u00e9 distorcida, dilu\u00edda ou simplesmente considerada inaplic\u00e1vel ao nosso mundo. Mas precisamos ser como Jeremias, que disse: \u201cEncontrei as tuas palavras, e as comi; a tua palavra foi para mim o gozo e alegria do meu cora\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d (Jeremias 15:16).<\/p><p><strong>\u00c2ncora de hoje:<\/strong><br \/>Sejamos como Josias e Jeremias, que buscaram com afinco a Palavra de
