N\u00e3o se trata de uma mera repeti\u00e7\u00e3o sem prop\u00f3sito; cada vez que isso \u00e9 mencionado, h\u00e1 um ponto espec\u00edfico que o Esp\u00edrito de Deus procura nos apresentar.<\/p><p>Primeiramente, em Hebreus 1:3 lemos: \u201cDepois de ter realizado a purifica\u00e7\u00e3o dos pecados, assentou-se \u00e0 direita da Majestade nas alturas\u201d. No contexto, o autor nos apresenta sete gl\u00f3rias do Senhor Jesus; portanto, podemos dizer que Ele se assentou por causa de <em>a gl\u00f3ria de Sua Pessoa<\/em>!<\/p><p>Em seguida, no mesmo cap\u00edtulo, ouvimos o Pai dizer: \u201cSenta-te \u00e0 minha direita, at\u00e9 que eu ponha os teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus p\u00e9s\u201d (1:13). Aqui, Ele se assenta por causa de <em>Sua preemin\u00eancia<\/em>.<\/p><p>A terceira refer\u00eancia \u00e9 o vers\u00edculo de hoje. Aqui, o Senhor Jesus se senta por causa de <em>Seu sacerd\u00f3cio perfeito<\/em>. Diferentemente dos membros do sacerd\u00f3cio lev\u00edtico, o Senhor Jesus n\u00e3o precisou oferecer sacrif\u00edcio pelos seus pr\u00f3prios pecados; e o seu sacerd\u00f3cio n\u00e3o \u00e9 limitado pela morte, porque Ele vive para sempre!<\/p><p>Isso nos leva \u00e0 quarta vez em que \u00e9 mencionado que nosso Senhor se assentou: \u201cMas este, havendo oferecido um \u00fanico sacrif\u00edcio pelos pecados para sempre, assentou-se \u00e0 direita de Deus\u201d (10:12). Aqui, vemos o Senhor Jesus assentando-se por causa de <em>Seu sacrif\u00edcio perfeito<\/em>.<\/p><p>A quinta e \u00faltima vez que vemos Cristo sentado \u00e9 no cap\u00edtulo 12. L\u00e1, o vemos como <em>nosso exemplo perfeito<\/em> Enquanto percorremos esta corrida chamada vida crist\u00e3, temos um objetivo no c\u00e9u para o qual devemos nos concentrar: \u201colhando firmemente para Jesus, autor e consumador da nossa f\u00e9, o qual, pela alegria que lhe estava proposta, suportou a cruz, desprezando a vergonha, e assentou-se \u00e0 direita do trono de Deus\u201d (12:1-2). Que nossos olhos e cora\u00e7\u00f5es estejam totalmente voltados para Ele hoje!<\/p><p><strong>\u00c2ncora de hoje:<br \/><\/strong><em>Nosso grande Sumo Sacerdote est\u00e1 sentado \u00e0 direita de Deus, l\u00e1 em cima., <\/em><br \/><em>Por n\u00f3s, Suas m\u00e3os se ergueram em compaix\u00e3o e amor; <\/em><br \/><em>Enquanto aqui embaixo, em nossa fragilidade, seguimos em frente apressadamente; <\/em><br \/><em>Na tristeza e na doen\u00e7a, muitas vezes suspiramos, gememos e rezamos.<\/em><br \/><em>-Lorde Adalbert Percy Cecil<\/em><\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Object in Heaven We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens.
