Paulo nos lembra, neste vers\u00edculo, que a verdadeira satisfa\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o se encontra em nossas riquezas, mas em Deus, que n\u00e3o apenas prov\u00ea tudo o que precisamos, mas tamb\u00e9m deseja que desfrutemos do que Ele nos d\u00e1. Este \u00e9 o segredo da verdadeira satisfa\u00e7\u00e3o: desfrutar daquele que nos aben\u00e7oa mais do que das b\u00ean\u00e7\u00e3os recebidas!<\/p><p>Mois\u00e9s \u00e9 um exemplo para n\u00f3s nisso. Lemos: \u201cPela f\u00e9, Mois\u00e9s, quando j\u00e1 era adulto, recusou ser chamado filho da filha de Fara\u00f3, preferindo ser maltratado com o povo de Deus a desfrutar os prazeres passageiros do pecado. Considerou a humilha\u00e7\u00e3o por amor de Cristo como riqueza maior do que os tesouros do Egito, porque tinha os olhos fixos na recompensa\u201d (Hebreus 11:24-26). Mois\u00e9s sabia que n\u00e3o devia depositar sua esperan\u00e7a na incerteza das riquezas, mas em Deus mesmo!<\/p><p>Salom\u00e3o, por outro lado, teve que aprender isso da maneira mais dif\u00edcil. Eclesiastes registra a busca de Salom\u00e3o por satisfa\u00e7\u00e3o, procurando contentamento em tudo, menos no Senhor. Ele pensou que as atividades prazerosas poderiam suprir suas necessidades (Ecl 2:1-3), mas isso s\u00f3 o deixou vazio. Ele pensou que as &quot;coisas&quot; poderiam lhe dar contentamento (vv. 7-8), mas, ao final de toda a sua busca, declara: &quot;Aborreci a vida, porque o que se faz debaixo do sol me era penoso, pois tudo \u00e9 vaidade e correr atr\u00e1s do vento&quot; (v. 17).<\/p><p>Assim como muitos hoje, Salom\u00e3o buscava o sentido da vida, uma esperan\u00e7a real para o futuro.
