Primeiramente, em nosso vers\u00edculo, ouvimos Ele dizer profeticamente: \u201cSou um verme, e n\u00e3o um homem\u201d. Esta palavra, que significa \u201csou um verme, e n\u00e3o um homem\u201d, refere-se \u00e0 condi\u00e7\u00e3o humana e \u00e0 sua natureza humana. <em>minhoca<\/em> A palavra aparece cerca de 31 vezes no Antigo Testamento e \u00e9 frequentemente traduzida como &quot;escarlate&quot; ou &quot;carmesim&quot;.\u201c<\/p><p>O verme a que se refere aqui chama-se tola; \u00e9 um pequeno verme que se alimenta de plantas e, quando esmagado, produz um belo corante escarlate, permanente e caro, usado pelos ricos. Ali\u00e1s, o significado literal da palavra escarlate \u00e9 \u201co esplendor do verme\u201d. Quando usada para se referir ao Senhor, lembra-nos que Ele teve de ser esmagado para que a Sua gl\u00f3ria e esplendor fossem vistos. Fala da Sua humilha\u00e7\u00e3o perante os homens, da sua vergonha perante os homens e do seu desprezo pelo povo. Ele foi esmagado e morto para que voc\u00ea e eu pud\u00e9ssemos viver e ser revestidos das gloriosas vestes da nossa salva\u00e7\u00e3o!<\/p><p>A express\u00e3o \u201ce nenhum homem\u201d significa, na verdade, \u201cum ningu\u00e9m\u201d. Isso nos lembra o que lemos em Filipenses 2:5-7: \u201cCristo Jesus... esvaziou-se a si mesmo, assumindo a forma de servo, tornando-se semelhante aos homens\u201d.\u201d<\/p><p>Outra express\u00e3o \u00e9 encontrada no Salmo 22:20: \u201cLivra-me da espada, a minha vida preciosa do poder do c\u00e3o\u201d. A frase \u201cminha vida preciosa\u201d \u00e9 traduzida por alguns como \u201cmeu \u00fanico\u201d. Essa express\u00e3o \u00e9 usada cinco vezes no Novo Testamento em refer\u00eancia ao Senhor Jesus como o \u201cunig\u00eanito\u201d. Em G\u00eanesis 22:2, ela \u00e9 usada para Isaque, que \u00e9 uma figura do Senhor Jesus. O Senhor Jesus \u00e9 o \u00fanico Filho eterno de Deus. Mesmo enquanto estava pendurado na cruz, ap\u00f3s o Seu sofrimento, quando entregou o Seu esp\u00edrito, o centuri\u00e3o declarou: \u201cVerdadeiramente este era o Filho de Deus\u201d (Mt 27:54)!<\/p><p><strong>\u00c2ncora de hoje:<\/strong><br \/>Aquele que era santo e n\u00e3o conhecia pecado, Deus o fez pecar por n\u00f3s; <br \/>O Salvador morreu para ganhar nossas almas, naquela cruz vergonhosa. <br \/>Somente o Seu precioso sangue foi capaz de lavar os nossos pecados; <br \/>Atrav\u00e9s da fraqueza, Ele prevaleceu sobre o inferno; atrav\u00e9s da morte, Ele triunfou.<br \/><em>\u2013 Senhorita Burlingham<\/em><\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Psalm of the Sin Offering (Part 2) But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised by the people.
