Por que, ent\u00e3o, n\u00e3o h\u00e1 cura para a filha do meu povo?<br \/><strong>Jeremias 8:22<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div><div class=\"LIN-Text\"><p>Um b\u00e1lsamo \u00e9 uma subst\u00e2ncia arom\u00e1tica e medicinal derivada de plantas. Gileade era uma regi\u00e3o a leste do rio Jord\u00e3o, conhecida por suas especiarias e unguentos. O b\u00e1lsamo de Gileade era um unguento de alta qualidade com propriedades curativas, feito da resina extra\u00edda de uma planta com flores. H\u00e1 tr\u00eas refer\u00eancias espec\u00edficas ao \u201cb\u00e1lsamo de Gileade\u201d nas Escrituras.<\/p><p>Em G\u00eanesis 37:25, lemos sobre a caravana de ismaelitas que carregava b\u00e1lsamo de Gileade. Aqui, em Jeremias 8, lemos Deus advertindo Jud\u00e1 sobre o que a Babil\u00f4nia faria com eles, e ao ouvir essa not\u00edcia, Jeremias lamenta: \u201cN\u00e3o h\u00e1 b\u00e1lsamo em Gileade?\u201d. Sua pergunta \u00e9 uma busca po\u00e9tica por esperan\u00e7a e cura. Ent\u00e3o, em Jeremias 46:11, ao descrever o julgamento iminente sobre o Egito, Deus diz: \u201cSobe a Gileade e toma b\u00e1lsamo, \u00f3 virgem, filha do Egito; em v\u00e3o usar\u00e1s muitos rem\u00e9dios; n\u00e3o ser\u00e1s curada\u201d. Em ambos os vers\u00edculos de Jeremias, o profeta descreve a dor e o desespero do povo de Deus e do mundo. N\u00e3o h\u00e1 b\u00e1lsamo nem m\u00e9dico para acalmar e aliviar a dor e o sofrimento! O Senhor Jesus Cristo \u00e9 verdadeiramente \u201co b\u00e1lsamo de Gileade\u201d para os que sofrem. Ele \u00e9 capaz de cur\u00e1-los completamente!<\/p><p>A pergunta em nosso vers\u00edculo de hoje \u00e9 ret\u00f3rica, mas podemos nos perguntar por que as pessoas n\u00e3o v\u00eam em busca de cura? Por que h\u00e1 tantos santos sofrendo hoje? Por que o mundo n\u00e3o vem ao Grande M\u00e9dico para ser curado? Talvez muitos n\u00e3o percebam sua enfermidade, assim como aqueles em Corinto, onde havia um baixo estado espiritual.
