Naum \u00e9 chamado pelo Senhor para profetizar o julgamento sobre o mesmo povo que se arrependeu quando Jonas, a contragosto, pregou para eles. Mas o tempo passou e o povo de N\u00ednive havia retornado aos seus maus caminhos. No primeiro cap\u00edtulo, lemos sobre a declara\u00e7\u00e3o do julgamento; no segundo, sobre o poder do julgamento; e no terceiro, sobre a finalidade desse julgamento. Tr\u00eas cap\u00edtulos de julgamento, tudo neste livro!<\/p><p>Mas o nosso vers\u00edculo se destaca como um farol, irradiando esperan\u00e7a na noite escura para todos os que por ali passam! Neste \u00fanico vers\u00edculo, vemos tr\u00eas coisas. Primeiro, lemos sobre a bondade de Deus. Talvez n\u00e3o seja isso que destacar\u00edamos; poder\u00edamos ter declarado: &quot;O Senhor \u00e9 Santo&quot; ou &quot;O Senhor \u00e9 grande&quot;, mas Naum anuncia a bondade do Senhor! O Senhor \u00e9 bom intrinsecamente, eticamente, moralmente e praticamente. O salmista nos lembra que o Senhor \u00e9 bom e faz o bem (Salmo 119:68). Essa bondade de Deus foi demonstrada ao longo da vida do Senhor Jesus, quando Ele andou por a\u00ed fazendo todo tipo de bem (Atos 10:38).<\/p><p>O segundo e o terceiro pontos da mensagem de Naum s\u00e3o claros. O Senhor \u00e9 capaz de salvar aqueles que se voltam para Ele da severidade do julgamento que em breve cairia sobre N\u00ednive. Naum p\u00f4de declarar, mesmo em julgamento, que o Senhor \u00e9 bom porque Ele \u00e9 uma torre forte para todos os que v\u00eam confiando nEle.<\/p><p>Assim como o julgamento veio sobre N\u00ednive, ele vir\u00e1 sobre toda a humanidade. Hoje, h\u00e1 um farol irradiando o evangelho da gra\u00e7a de Deus, proclamando: &quot;Deus te ama!&quot; Ele providenciou um caminho de salva\u00e7\u00e3o na cruz de Jesus Cristo. Todos os que v\u00eam a Ele e confessam seus pecados ser\u00e3o salvos!
