Ele se levantou e atacou os filisteus at\u00e9 que sua m\u00e3o se cansou e ficou presa \u00e0 espada. O Senhor lhe concedeu uma grande vit\u00f3ria naquele dia; e o povo voltou atr\u00e1s dele apenas para saquear.\u201d<\/em><br \/><strong><em>2 Samuel 23:9-10<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"621\">Eleazar \u2014 seu nome significa \u201cDeus \u00e9 meu Auxiliador\u201d. Ele era filho de Dod\u00f4 ou Dodai, que significa \u201cseu amado\u201d, e era um aho\u00edta, que significa \u201cirm\u00e3o do descanso\u201d. Este homem fez jus ao seu nome, confiando em Deus para ajud\u00e1-lo. Ele permaneceu firme quando outros recuaram. Ele n\u00e3o fez da conduta dos outros o padr\u00e3o para a sua vida. Ele permaneceu sozinho \u2014 mas nunca verdadeiramente sozinho \u2014 o Senhor era o seu Auxiliador! Ele nos lembra que, se houver vit\u00f3ria, ela ser\u00e1 \u201cn\u00e3o por for\u00e7a nem por poder, mas pelo meu Esp\u00edrito\u201d, diz o Senhor (Zacarias 4:6). Sem Ele, nada podemos fazer (Jo\u00e3o 15:5), mas \u201ctudo podemos naquele que nos fortalece\u201d (Filipenses 4:13).<\/p><p data-start=\"623\" data-end=\"1102\">Eleazar n\u00e3o seguiu a multid\u00e3o, mas defendeu aquilo em que acreditava e usou o que tinha \u00e0 disposi\u00e7\u00e3o: sua espada. Que exemplo para cada um de n\u00f3s, jovens ou idosos! Para sermos h\u00e1beis com a espada, precisamos conhec\u00ea-la e estar familiarizados com ela. Nossa espada \u00e9 a Palavra de Deus, \u201ca espada do Esp\u00edrito, que \u00e9 a palavra de Deus\u201d (Ef\u00e9sios 6:17). Devemos \u201cprocurar apresentar-nos a Deus aprovados, como obreiros que n\u00e3o t\u00eam de que se envergonhar e que manejam bem a palavra da verdade\u201d (2 Tim\u00f3teo 2:15).<\/p><p data-start=\"1104\" data-end=\"1289\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Um \u00faltimo aspecto que se destaca em Eleazar \u00e9 que ele compartilhava aquilo pelo qual lutava, mesmo que outros n\u00e3o tivessem participado da batalha.
