A palavra <em data-start=\"94\" data-end=\"104\">perigoso<\/em> \u00e9 <em data-start=\"108\" data-end=\"118\">chalepos<\/em> Em grego, a palavra carrega a ideia de algo dif\u00edcil, perigoso, complicado ou selvagem. Essa mesma palavra \u00e9 usada para descrever dois homens possu\u00eddos por dem\u00f4nios que viviam nos t\u00famulos e eram extremamente violentos (Mateus 8:28). Isso nos lembra do que Paulo escreveu em 1 Tim\u00f3teo 4:1: \u201cOra, o Esp\u00edrito afirma expressamente que nos \u00faltimos tempos alguns apostatar\u00e3o da f\u00e9, dando ouvidos a esp\u00edritos enganadores e a ensinos de dem\u00f4nios\u201d.\u201d<\/p><p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"535\">Ele continua descrevendo esses \u00faltimos dias como um tempo em que \u201cos homens ser\u00e3o amantes de si mesmos, amantes do dinheiro, presun\u00e7osos, soberbos, blasfemos, desobedientes aos pais, ingratos, \u00edmpios, sem amor, implac\u00e1veis, caluniadores, sem dom\u00ednio pr\u00f3prio, brutais, inimigos do bem, traidores, obstinados, orgulhosos, mais amantes dos prazeres do que de Deus, tendo apar\u00eancia de piedade, mas negando o seu poder\u201d (2 Tim\u00f3teo 3:2-4).<\/p><p data-start=\"537\" data-end=\"1037\">Ao observarmos o mundo ao nosso redor, n\u00e3o \u00e9 dif\u00edcil acreditar que estamos vivendo nos \u00faltimos dias. As pr\u00f3prias coisas descritas por Paulo descrevem perfeitamente a nossa cultura! Ao pensarmos em tudo isso, \u00e9 f\u00e1cil que nossos cora\u00e7\u00f5es se sintam sobrecarregados e perturbados. Mas as palavras do Senhor Jesus devem nos trazer grande conforto, pois Ele declarou: \u201cEu lhes disse essas coisas para que em mim voc\u00eas tenham paz. Neste mundo voc\u00eas ter\u00e3o afli\u00e7\u00f5es; contudo, tenham \u00e2nimo! Eu venci o mundo\u201d (Jo\u00e3o 16:33).<\/p><p data-start=\"1039\" data-end=\"1144\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Como o Grande Vencedor, Ele deseja que voc\u00ea e eu sejamos vencedores e n\u00e3o que sejamos vencidos pela nossa cultura!<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Seria f\u00e1cil deixar que o caos e a confus\u00e3o da nossa cultura tomassem conta de nossas mentes e cora\u00e7\u00f5es. Tim\u00f3teo tamb\u00e9m se sentiu t\u00edmido e temeroso quando jovem, buscando viver para o Senhor.
