Ela estava no cora\u00e7\u00e3o e na mente de Deus desde a eternidade. Antes do in\u00edcio dos tempos, o plano para a nossa reden\u00e7\u00e3o j\u00e1 estava estabelecido \u2014 e no centro desse plano est\u00e1 a pessoa e a obra do Filho amado de Deus, o Senhor Jesus Cristo. Quando refletimos sobre a obra de Cristo, uma verdade que se torna maravilhosamente clara \u00e9 esta: Ele morreu em nosso lugar. O Senhor Jesus Cristo \u00e9 o nosso Substituto.<\/p><p data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"1275\">Enquanto a palavra <em data-start=\"758\" data-end=\"772\">substitui\u00e7\u00e3o<\/em> Embora o conceito em si n\u00e3o apare\u00e7a na B\u00edblia, a verdade sobre ele est\u00e1 entrela\u00e7ada como um fio escarlate em toda a Escritura. Uma das imagens mais claras vem da conhecida hist\u00f3ria em G\u00eanesis 22, quando Abra\u00e3o, em obedi\u00eancia ao mandamento de Deus, levou Isaque ao Monte Mori\u00e1 para oferec\u00ea-lo em sacrif\u00edcio. No momento em que estava prestes a agir, o Senhor interveio, e um carneiro preso no mato tornou-se o holocausto \u2014 \u201coferecido em lugar de seu filho\u201d. Essa simples frase ilustra a substitui\u00e7\u00e3o: um tomando o lugar de outro.<\/p><p data-start=\"1277\" data-end=\"1745\">Isso nos leva \u00e0 pergunta: por que precisamos de um substituto? A B\u00edblia n\u00e3o nos deixa no escuro quanto a isso. Romanos 3:23 diz claramente: \u201cTodos pecaram e est\u00e3o destitu\u00eddos da gl\u00f3ria de Deus\u201d, e no cap\u00edtulo 6: \u201cO sal\u00e1rio do pecado \u00e9 a morte\u201d. Essa \u00e9 a condi\u00e7\u00e3o universal da humanidade \u2014 todos n\u00f3s somos culpados perante um Deus santo. Mas, louvado seja Deus, Ele providenciou uma sa\u00edda: um Substituto, que tomou o nosso lugar, carregou o nosso julgamento e abriu o caminho para a vida eterna.<\/p><p data-start=\"2174\" data-end=\"2666\">No Novo Testamento, a ideia de substitui\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 presente em express\u00f5es como \u201cpor n\u00f3s\u201d e \u201cem nosso lugar\u201d. Veja 2 Cor\u00edntios 5:21: <em data-start=\"2310\" data-end=\"2417\">\u201c&quot;Aquele que n\u00e3o conheceu pecado, Deus o fez pecado por n\u00f3s, para que nele nos torn\u00e1ssemos justi\u00e7a de Deus.&quot;\u201d<\/em> Ou 1 Pedro 3:18: <em data-start=\"2435\" data-end=\"2530\">\u201c&quot;Tamb\u00e9m Cristo sofreu uma vez pelos pecados, o justo pelos injustos, para conduzir-nos a Deus.&quot;\u201d<\/em> Esses n\u00e3o s\u00e3o apenas vers\u00edculos doutrin\u00e1rios \u2014 s\u00e3o profundamente pessoais. Cristo tomou o meu lugar. Ele carregou o meu pecado. Ele ficou onde eu deveria ter ficado.<\/p><p data-start=\"3585\" data-end=\"3887\"><strong>\u00c2ncora de hoje:<\/strong><br \/>Cristo morreu em seu lugar.
