Voc\u00ea e eu n\u00e3o podemos crescer como crist\u00e3os sem estarmos neste Livro e sem que este Livro esteja em n\u00f3s.<\/p><p data-start=\"438\" data-end=\"697\">Trabalho declarado, <em data-start=\"452\" data-end=\"577\">\u201cN\u00e3o me afastei do mandamento dos seus l\u00e1bios; guardei as palavras da sua boca mais do que o alimento necess\u00e1rio.\u201d<\/em> (J\u00f3 23:12). O salmista disse, <em data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"683\">\u201cGuardei a tua palavra no meu cora\u00e7\u00e3o, para eu n\u00e3o pecar contra ti.\u201d<\/em> (Salmo 119:11).<\/p><p data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"783\">Nossa atitude em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a este Livro determinar\u00e1 o crescimento espiritual de cada um de n\u00f3s.<\/p><p data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"1208\">William Tyndale deu a pr\u00f3pria vida por este Livro quando foi queimado na fogueira por defender a verdade encontrada na B\u00edblia. Ele morreu com apenas quarenta e dois anos, em 6 de outubro de 1536. Suas \u00faltimas palavras foram em parte uma cita\u00e7\u00e3o do Salmo 119:18\u2014<em data-start=\"1028\" data-end=\"1090\">\u201cAbre os meus olhos, para que eu veja as maravilhas da tua lei\u201d<\/em>\u2014exceto que Tyndale orou, <em data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1208\">\u201cAbre os olhos do Rei da Inglaterra, para que ele veja as maravilhas da Tua lei.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p data-start=\"1210\" data-end=\"1475\">Sua ora\u00e7\u00e3o foi atendida dois anos depois, quando o rei Henrique VIII ordenou que a B\u00edblia traduzida por Miles Coverdale fosse usada em todas as par\u00f3quias da Inglaterra. A B\u00edblia de Coverdale foi baseada em grande parte na obra de William Tyndale e, em 1539, a B\u00edblia de Tyndale foi publicada.<\/p><p data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1515\">Qual \u00e9 a nossa atitude em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 B\u00edblia?<\/p><p data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1874\">O salmista disse:, <em data-start=\"1536\" data-end=\"1593\">\u201cA tua palavra \u00e9 l\u00e2mpada para os meus p\u00e9s e luz para o meu caminho.\u201d<\/em> (Salmo 119:105). No Salmo 19, vemos em primeira m\u00e3o qual era a atitude de Davi em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 Palavra de Deus. Leia esse Salmo e observe que h\u00e1 seis t\u00edtulos da Palavra de Deus, seis descri\u00e7\u00f5es do que ela \u00e9 e seis efeitos do que ela realiza. \u00c9 \u00fatil ver como o salmista apresenta essas verdades para n\u00f3s.<\/p><p data-start=\"2632\" data-end=\"2826\">Precisamos ter a mesma atitude em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s Escrituras que Jeremias teve.
