Um Mediador<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Pois h\u00e1 um s\u00f3 Deus e um s\u00f3 Mediador entre Deus e os homens, Cristo Jesus, homem, que se deu a si mesmo como resgate por todos, para servir de testemunho em tempo oportuno.
1 Tim\u00f3teo 2:5-6<\/strong>
<\/em><\/p>

Um dos ensinamentos mais fundamentais da Palavra de Deus \u00e9 que existe um s\u00f3 Deus. Tamb\u00e9m fica claro neste vers\u00edculo \u2014 e em muitos outros \u2014 que existe apenas um Mediador entre Deus e a humanidade.<\/p>

J\u00f3 descreveu a necessidade de um mediador quando perguntou:, \u201cMas como pode um homem ser justo diante de Deus?\u201d<\/em> Ele ent\u00e3o prosseguiu dizendo:, \u201cE n\u00e3o h\u00e1 entre n\u00f3s nenhum mediador que possa impor a m\u00e3o sobre n\u00f3s dois.\u201d<\/em> (J\u00f3 9:1-2, 33). Isso descreve perfeitamente o trabalho de um mediador \u2014 algu\u00e9m que re\u00fane duas partes separadas.<\/p>

O pecado separou a humanidade de Deus, mas o Senhor Jesus veio ao mundo para nos reconciliar com Deus. Somente Ele se qualifica como nosso Mediador, porque Ele \u00e9 o Filho de Deus que se tornou Filho do Homem \u2014 plenamente Deus e plenamente homem, por\u00e9m sem pecado. Nada podemos fazer para mediar nossa pr\u00f3pria causa diante de Deus. Nenhuma quantidade de boas obras pode nos tornar justos aos Seus olhos, pois \u201cTodos n\u00f3s somos como o imundo, e todas as nossas justi\u00e7as como trapo da imund\u00edcia.\u201d<\/em> (Isa\u00edas 64:6).<\/p>

Comparecemos perante Deus como pecadores culpados, e \u00e9 por isso que precisamos de um Mediador entre Deus e os homens. Na Cruz, o Senhor Jesus se colocou entre um Deus santo e a humanidade pecadora e, como J\u00f3 descreveu, imp\u00f4s as m\u00e3os sobre n\u00f3s dois. Ele se ofereceu de uma vez por todas como sacrif\u00edcio pelo pecado \u2014 sacrif\u00edcio que jamais se repetir\u00e1 (Hebreus 7:27; 9:9, 9:28; 10:2).<\/p>

O Senhor Jesus \u00e9 o \u00fanico Mediador entre Deus e os homens. Hebreus 9:14-15 nos diz:
\u201cQuanto mais o sangue de Cristo, que pelo Esp\u00edrito eterno se ofereceu a si mesmo imaculado a Deus, purificar\u00e1 a vossa consci\u00eancia das obras mortas para servirdes ao Deus vivo? E por isso mesmo ele \u00e9 o mediador de uma nova alian\u00e7a, por meio da sua morte, para reden\u00e7\u00e3o das transgress\u00f5es cometidas sob a primeira alian\u00e7a, a fim de que os chamados recebam a promessa da heran\u00e7a eterna.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Como nosso Mediador, o Senhor Jesus \u201cDeu a si mesmo um resgate por todos.\u201d<\/em> A palavra resgate significa Pagar o pre\u00e7o para libertar um escravo<\/em>\u2014e \u00e9ramos escravos do pecado. Embora a morte de Cristo tenha sido suficiente para todos, somente aqueles que confiam nele recebem os benef\u00edcios da salva\u00e7\u00e3o. Jesus disse de si mesmo:, \u201c"Pois o Filho do Homem n\u00e3o veio para ser servido, mas para servir e dar a sua vida em resgate por muitos."\u201d<\/em> (Mateus 20:28).<\/p>

Voc\u00ea \u00e9 um desses muitos? Voc\u00ea pode dizer hoje: Ele \u00e9 meu Mediador \u2014 Ele \u00e9 meu Salvador?<\/p>
