\u201c"E, subitamente, juntou-se ao anjo uma multid\u00e3o da mil\u00edcia celestial, louvando a Deus e dizendo: 'Gl\u00f3ria a Deus nas alturas, e paz na terra entre os homens de boa vontade!'"\u2018<\/em>

<\/strong><\/p>

A multid\u00e3o do ex\u00e9rcito celestial louvou a Deus, dizendo:, \u201cGl\u00f3ria a Deus nas alturas, e paz na terra entre os homens de boa vontade!\u201d<\/em> Ao nos concentrarmos na segunda parte desse tema, aprendemos que a vinda do Senhor Jesus n\u00e3o foi apenas para a gl\u00f3ria de Deus, mas tamb\u00e9m para o bem da humanidade. A frase \u201cNa terra, paz e boa vontade para com os homens\u201d<\/em> poderia ser entendido como, \u201cNa terra, paz entre aqueles a quem Ele quer bem.\u201d<\/em> Isso n\u00e3o significa que uma pessoa possa agradar a Deus por meio de boas obras \u2014 as Escrituras deixam claro que a salva\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o vem pelas obras (Ef\u00e9sios 2:8-9). A paz que os anjos proclamaram \u00e9 a paz com Deus, que resulta da salva\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>

Romanos 5:1 diz isso claramente: \u201cPortanto, justificados pela f\u00e9, temos paz com Deus por meio de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo.\u201d<\/em> Pedro tamb\u00e9m falou sobre esta mensagem: \u201cA palavra que Deus enviou aos filhos de Israel, anunciando a paz por meio de Jesus Cristo, que \u00e9 o Senhor de todos.\u201d<\/em> (Atos 10:36).<\/p>

A possibilidade dessa paz flui do cora\u00e7\u00e3o de um Deus amoroso que \u00e9 \u201cLonga-paci\u00eancia para conosco, n\u00e3o querendo que nenhum pere\u00e7a, sen\u00e3o que todos cheguem ao arrependimento\u201d<\/em> (2 Pedro 3:9). O Senhor Jesus tomou sobre si na cruz o castigo que nos trouxe paz (Isa\u00edas 53:5), tornando poss\u00edvel a nossa reconcilia\u00e7\u00e3o com Deus. Essa reconcilia\u00e7\u00e3o vem pela f\u00e9 em sua obra consumada. Paulo escreve:, \u201c"Pois, se n\u00f3s, quando \u00e9ramos inimigos, fomos reconciliados com Deus mediante a morte de seu Filho, muito mais, estando j\u00e1 reconciliados, seremos salvos pela sua vida."\u201d<\/em> (Romanos 5:10).<\/p>

Ele explica ainda em 2 Cor\u00edntios 5:18-19: \u201c"Ora, tudo prov\u00e9m de Deus, que nos reconciliou consigo mesmo por meio de Cristo e nos deu o minist\u00e9rio da reconcilia\u00e7\u00e3o; isto \u00e9, que Deus estava em Cristo reconciliando consigo o mundo, n\u00e3o lhes imputando os seus pecados, e nos confiou a palavra da reconcilia\u00e7\u00e3o."\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Deus \u00e9 chamado de Deus da paz cinco vezes no Novo Testamento (Romanos 15:33; 16:20; Filipenses 4:9; 1 Tessalonicenses 5:23; Hebreus 13:20). O Senhor Jesus prometeu aos seus disc\u00edpulos:, \u201cA minha paz vos dou\u201d<\/em> (Jo\u00e3o 14:27). Esta paz vem atrav\u00e9s da f\u00e9: \u201cQue o Deus da esperan\u00e7a os encha de toda alegria e paz, por sua f\u00e9, para que voc\u00eas transbordem de esperan\u00e7a, pelo poder do Esp\u00edrito Santo.\u201d<\/em> (Romanos 15:13).<\/p>
