\u201cEnt\u00e3o o anjo lhes disse: \u2018N\u00e3o tenham medo, pois trago-lhes boas novas de grande alegria, que ser\u00e1 para todo o povo. Hoje, na cidade de Davi, lhes nasceu o Salvador, que \u00e9 Cristo, o Senhor.\u2019\u201d
<\/em>Lucas 2:10-11<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

H\u00e1 mais um aspecto da mensagem de boas novas do anjo no qual queremos nos concentrar. O anjo anunciou que o Salvador nascido na cidade de Davi \u00e9 \u201cCristo, o Senhor.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

\u201cCristo\u201d vem da palavra grega Cristo,<\/em> Significa \u201cungido\u201d ou \u201cescolhido\u201d. Este \u00e9 o equivalente grego da palavra hebraica. Messias,<\/em> ou Messias. Jesus<\/em> \u00e9 o nome que o Senhor recebeu como homem, revelado a Maria pelo anjo (Lucas 1:31). Cristo<\/em> \u00e9 o Seu t\u00edtulo, que significa que Ele foi enviado por Deus para ser Rei e Libertador (Isa\u00edas 32:1; 61:1; Daniel 9:25-26).<\/p>

O anjo prosseguiu declarando que Ele \u00e9 \u201cCristo, o Senhor.\u201d<\/em> Enquanto senhor<\/em> Naquela \u00e9poca, era frequentemente usado como um termo de respeito, mas quando aplicado ao Senhor Jesus, carrega um significado muito maior. Em Atos 2:36, ap\u00f3s a morte, sepultamento e ressurrei\u00e7\u00e3o de Jesus, Pedro proclamou:, \u201cPortanto, que toda a casa de Israel saiba com certeza que Deus fez Senhor e Cristo a este Jesus, a quem voc\u00eas crucificaram.\u201d<\/em> Mas o que aprendemos com o an\u00fancio aos pastores \u00e9 que, mesmo deitado numa manjedoura, Jesus \u00e9 o Senhor! Seu senhorio \u00e9 eterno.<\/p>

O profeta Isa\u00edas viu o \u201cSenhor\u2026 exaltado e sublime\u201d<\/em> (Isa\u00edas 6:1), e Jo\u00e3o se refere a esse evento em Jo\u00e3o 12:41, dizendo:, \u201cEstas coisas Isa\u00edas disse quando viu a gl\u00f3ria de Jesus e falou a respeito dele.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

O Senhor Jesus \u00e9 Senhor sobre a cria\u00e7\u00e3o, como demonstrado quando acalmou a tempestade \u2014 os ventos e as ondas sabiam exatamente a quem obedeciam. Ele \u00e9 Senhor sobre a hist\u00f3ria, como o \u201cAlfa e \u00d4mega, o princ\u00edpio e o fim, o primeiro e o \u00faltimo\u201d<\/em> (Apocalipse 22:13). Ele \u00e9 o Senhor no reino da morte, da ressurrei\u00e7\u00e3o e da gl\u00f3ria (Filipenses 2:9-11). Ele tem \u201ctoda a autoridade no c\u00e9u e na terra\u201d<\/em> (Mateus 28:18). Ele \u00e9 o Senhor do s\u00e1bado (Lucas 6:5). Ele \u00e9 \u201cnosso \u00fanico Soberano e Senhor\u201d<\/em> (Judas 1:4). Ele \u00e9, de fato, o Senhor dos senhores<\/em> (Apocalipse 17:14).<\/p>

Mas como \u00e9 incr\u00edvel que vejamos Sua Senhoria j\u00e1 em Seu nascimento!<\/p>

Jesus \u00e9 o Senhor. Mas a pergunta que cada um de n\u00f3s deve fazer \u00e9: \u201cEle \u00e9 meu Senhor?\u201d<\/em> Estou submisso ao Seu senhorio em minha vida?<\/p>

Romanos 10:9-10 declara, \u201c"Se voc\u00ea confessar com a sua boca que Jesus \u00e9 o Senhor e crer em seu cora\u00e7\u00e3o que Deus o ressuscitou dentre os mortos, ser\u00e1 salvo. Pois com o cora\u00e7\u00e3o se cr\u00ea para justi\u00e7a, e com a boca se confessa para salva\u00e7\u00e3o."\u201d<\/em><\/p>
