Mas Marta estava ocupada com muitos afazeres, e aproximou-se de Jesus e disse: "Senhor, n\u00e3o te importas que minha irm\u00e3 me deixe sozinha a servir? Dize-lhe, pois, que me ajude". E Jesus respondeu: "Marta, Marta, est\u00e1s preocupada e inquieta com muitas coisas; mas apenas uma \u00e9 necess\u00e1ria, e Maria escolheu a boa parte, a qual n\u00e3o lhe ser\u00e1 tirada".\u201c

<\/em><\/p>


O encontro de Marta com o Senhor \u00e9 muito instrutivo para cada um de n\u00f3s. Ela \u00e9 um belo exemplo de algu\u00e9m que aprendeu a servir. Lemos sobre seu servi\u00e7o aqui em nossa passagem, depois novamente em Jo\u00e3o 11 e tamb\u00e9m em Jo\u00e3o 12.<\/p>

Aqui, em Lucas 10, Marta precisava aprender \u2014 assim como Maria j\u00e1 havia aprendido \u2014 que o Senhor Jesus \u00e9 o Profeta aos p\u00e9s de quem devemos nos sentar e receber instru\u00e7\u00e3o. Em Jo\u00e3o 11, ela veio ao Senhor Jesus com o cora\u00e7\u00e3o partido pela morte de seu irm\u00e3o L\u00e1zaro e experimentou Seu cuidado sacerdotal enquanto Ele demonstrava Seu amor. Ent\u00e3o, em Jo\u00e3o 12, vemos Marta servindo, Maria ungindo o Senhor Jesus e L\u00e1zaro sentado com Ele \u2014 cada um nos dando uma imagem do privil\u00e9gio e da posi\u00e7\u00e3o do seguidor de Cristo hoje. Somos capazes de adorar agora Aquele diante de quem todo joelho se dobrar\u00e1 como Rei dos reis e Senhor dos senhores. Assim, nas vidas de Marta e Maria, vemos nosso Senhor como Profeta, Sacerdote e Rei.<\/p>

Mas o que \u00e9 especialmente instrutivo no vers\u00edculo de hoje \u00e9 como podemos servir ao Senhor. Podemos servi-Lo como Marta fez aqui \u2014 por dever \u2014 ou podemos servi-Lo, como ela faz em Jo\u00e3o 12, por devo\u00e7\u00e3o. J\u00e1 foi dito que existe o servi\u00e7o da atra\u00e7\u00e3o, o servi\u00e7o da distra\u00e7\u00e3o, o servi\u00e7o da a\u00e7\u00e3o e o servi\u00e7o da satisfa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>

Quando nos aproximamos do Senhor pela primeira vez e desejamos ador\u00e1-Lo por meio do nosso servi\u00e7o, quem Ele \u00e9 e o que Ele fez por n\u00f3s nos atrai. Mas, \u00e0s vezes, ficamos t\u00e3o ocupados e absortos com o nosso servi\u00e7o que perdemos de vista Aquele a quem servimos. Quando estamos distra\u00eddos, o nosso servi\u00e7o torna-se mera atividade \u2014 rotina e movimento sem devo\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>

Mas o parte boa<\/em> O que ningu\u00e9m pode tirar \u00e9 servi-Lo com devo\u00e7\u00e3o. Este \u00e9 o servi\u00e7o que verdadeiramente satisfaz.<\/p>

Quando o servi\u00e7o \u00e9 apenas servi\u00e7o, torna-se uma rotina religiosa; mas quando o servi\u00e7o flui de um relacionamento vibrante e genu\u00edno com o Senhor, torna-se adora\u00e7\u00e3o. Marta aprendeu isso \u2014 demonstrando-o lindamente em Jo\u00e3o 12.<\/p>
