Redes cheias, barcos cheios, cora\u00e7\u00f5es cheios<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Ent\u00e3o Jesus entrou num dos barcos, que era o de Sim\u00e3o, e pediu-lhe que se afastasse um pouco da margem. Sentou-se e, do barco, ensinava a multid\u00e3o. Quando acabou de falar, disse a Sim\u00e3o: \u201cAvance para \u00e1guas mais profundas e lancem as redes para pescar\u201d. Sim\u00e3o respondeu: \u201cMestre, trabalhamos a noite toda e n\u00e3o pescamos nada; mas, por tua palavra, lan\u00e7arei as redes\u201d.\u201d

<\/em><\/p>

Ao continuarmos a analisar esse encontro com Cristo relatado nos primeiros onze vers\u00edculos de Lucas 5, j\u00e1 perguntamos:, \u201cComo reagimos ao fracasso?\u201d<\/em> (vv. 1\u20132). Agora perguntemos, \u201cComo reagimos \u00e0 autoridade?\u201d<\/em> (vv. 3\u20135).<\/p>

Esses pescadores experientes haviam pescado a noite toda e n\u00e3o tinham pescado nada. Sem d\u00favida, estavam exaustos ap\u00f3s uma longa noite de trabalho e provavelmente frustrados com a falta de resultados. Ent\u00e3o, eis que surge o Senhor Jesus \u2014 um mestre itinerante, carpinteiro de profiss\u00e3o (Marcos 6:3) \u2014 e transforma o barco de pesca de Pedro em um p\u00falpito.<\/p>

O professor b\u00edblico J. Vernon McGee disse certa vez:, \u201cTodo p\u00falpito \u00e9 um barco de pesca, um lugar para proclamar a Palavra de Deus e tentar pescar.\u201d<\/em> Nesse momento, o Senhor Jesus faz exatamente isso \u2014 usa o barco de Pedro para ensinar as multid\u00f5es.<\/p>

Mas a instru\u00e7\u00e3o seguinte pode ter sido dif\u00edcil para Pedro aceitar. Depois de terminar de ensinar, Jesus lhe disse:, \u201cAventurem-se em \u00e1guas profundas e lancem suas redes para uma pescaria.\u201d<\/em> A resposta de Peter era compreens\u00edvel. Ele provavelmente passou a maior parte da vida pescando. Sua experi\u00eancia lhe dizia que tentar novamente n\u00e3o fazia sentido. Por isso ele respondeu:, \u201cMestre, trabalhamos a noite toda e n\u00e3o pescamos nada.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Mas Pedro n\u00e3o parou por a\u00ed. Mesmo que a ordem contrariasse sua experi\u00eancia, sua l\u00f3gica e seu cansa\u00e7o, ele acrescentou:, \u201cContudo, por Tua palavra, lan\u00e7arei a rede.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Eis uma li\u00e7\u00e3o para n\u00f3s: Sem o Senhor Jesus, podemos trabalhar a noite toda e ainda assim terminar com as redes vazias (veja Jo\u00e3o 15:5).<\/p>

Mas quando Pedro obedeceu, o resultado foi avassalador. As redes ficaram t\u00e3o cheias que come\u00e7aram a se romper, e os barcos come\u00e7aram a afundar sob o peso (vv. 6-7).<\/p>
