Mantendo as redes limpas<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Assim, enquanto a multid\u00e3o se apertava ao redor dele para ouvir a palavra de Deus, Jesus estava em p\u00e9 junto ao lago de Genesar\u00e9 e viu dois barcos ancorados na margem; por\u00e9m os pescadores haviam se afastado deles e estavam lavando as redes.

<\/em><\/p>

H\u00e1 muitas li\u00e7\u00f5es para aprendermos com a vida de Pedro. Uma delas encontra-se no in\u00edcio de seus encontros com o Senhor Jesus. Ao analisarmos os primeiros onze vers\u00edculos de Lucas, cap\u00edtulo cinco, podemos nos fazer algumas perguntas: Como reagimos ao fracasso (vv. 1-2)? Como reagimos \u00e0 autoridade (vv. 3-5)? Como reagimos ao sucesso (vv. 6-8)? E, por fim, como reagimos a uma vida de f\u00e9 (vv. 9-11)?<\/p>

Hoje, vamos refletir sobre como reagimos a falha<\/strong>. Para muitos, o fracasso parece insuport\u00e1vel. Alguns veem o fracasso como o fim da linha. Mas para aquele que entrega tudo a Cristo \u2014 at\u00e9 mesmo o fracasso \u2014 o fracasso n\u00e3o precisa ser definitivo. O presidente Theodore Roosevelt disse certa vez: "O \u00fanico homem que nunca comete um erro \u00e9 o homem que nunca faz nada".\u201c<\/p>

Esses pescadores experientes retornaram ap\u00f3s uma noite inteira de trabalho com as redes vazias. Sim\u00e3o (Pedro) testemunharia mais tarde: \u201cTrabalhamos a noite toda e n\u00e3o pescamos nada\u201d (v. 5). \u00c9 f\u00e1cil para n\u00f3s, que podemos ver a pesca como esporte ou hobby, ignorar a realidade de que esse era o sustento deles. Redes vazias significavam nenhuma renda \u2014 nenhuma provis\u00e3o para suas necessidades di\u00e1rias.<\/p>

Mas o que eles estavam fazendo? Estavam lavando suas redes. Estavam se preparando para voltar ao mar. Limpar as redes n\u00e3o era uma atitude de quem havia desistido. Era a atitude daqueles que entendiam a import\u00e2ncia de redes limpas. Se as redes n\u00e3o fossem cuidadas, pequenas ervas daninhas e detritos poderiam secar e se infiltrar nelas, e pequenos animais poderiam perfurar as fibras. Essas coisas enfraqueceriam e apodreceriam as redes, comprometendo o sucesso futuro.<\/p>

Assim como era importante para esses pescadores n\u00e3o desistirem, mas lavarem suas redes, \u00e9 importante para n\u00f3s n\u00e3o permitirmos que contratempos, fracassos ou obst\u00e1culos \u2014 grandes ou pequenos \u2014 nos fa\u00e7am desistir. Devemos manter breves registros de nossos pecados, confessando-os diante do Senhor (1 Jo\u00e3o 1:9). Devemos estar vigilantes, \u201cpara que ningu\u00e9m se exclua da gra\u00e7a de Deus\u201d (Hebreus 12:15).<\/p>

N\u00e3o deixe que seu fracasso seja definitivo.
