No terceiro dia, houve um casamento em Can\u00e1 da Galileia, e a m\u00e3e de Jesus estava l\u00e1. Ora, Jesus e seus disc\u00edpulos tamb\u00e9m foram convidados para o casamento. E quando o vinho acabou, a m\u00e3e de Jesus disse a Jesus: "Eles n\u00e3o t\u00eam vinho". Jesus respondeu: "Mulher, o que isso tem a ver comigo? A minha hora ainda n\u00e3o chegou". Sua m\u00e3e disse aos servos: "Fa\u00e7am tudo o que ele lhes disser".\u201c

<\/em><\/p>

O encontro com o Senhor Jesus que examinaremos hoje tamb\u00e9m envolve o Senhor Jesus e Sua m\u00e3e. O contexto \u00e9 um casamento em Can\u00e1, onde ambos estavam presentes. Durante a celebra\u00e7\u00e3o, o anfitri\u00e3o ficou sem vinho. Este \u00e9 o momento em que o Convidado \u2014 o Senhor Jesus \u2014 se tornou o verdadeiro Anfitri\u00e3o. Nos vers\u00edculos 1\u20132, vemos Ele como o Convidado; nos vers\u00edculos 3\u20135, como o Filho; e nos vers\u00edculos 6\u201312, como o Anfitri\u00e3o.<\/p>

Imagine o constrangimento do anfitri\u00e3o do casamento ao ficar sem vinho. Maria havia refletido muito em seu cora\u00e7\u00e3o a respeito de seu Filho e sabia que Ele seria capaz de resolver esse problema. Ao se aproximar Dele, ela exp\u00f4s a situa\u00e7\u00e3o, e a resposta Dele pode nos parecer estranha: \u201cMulher, o que isso tem a ver comigo? A minha hora ainda n\u00e3o chegou\u201d. O Senhor Jesus se refere \u00e0 \u201cminha hora\u201d, uma express\u00e3o mencionada pelo menos dez vezes no Evangelho de Jo\u00e3o \u2014 cinco vezes como \u201cainda n\u00e3o chegou\u201d e cinco vezes como \u201ca hora chegou\u201d.\u201d<\/p>

Sua resposta n\u00e3o ofendeu Maria; ela entendeu o que Ele queria dizer. Ele estava lembrando-a de que seguia um cronograma divino. Quem controlava esse cronograma era o Pai \u2014 n\u00e3o as circunst\u00e2ncias da vida.<\/p>

Maria, cheia de f\u00e9, disse aos servos: \u201cFa\u00e7am tudo o que ele lhes disser\u201d. O Senhor ent\u00e3o instruiu os servos a encherem seis c\u00e2ntaros com \u00e1gua, o que eles fizeram obedientemente. Conforme continuaram a seguir as suas instru\u00e7\u00f5es e a tirar \u00e1gua dos c\u00e2ntaros, descobriram que a \u00e1gua havia se transformado em vinho \u2014 n\u00e3o um vinho qualquer, mas o melhor vinho (vv. 9-10)!<\/p>

O Senhor n\u00e3o disse a Maria nem aos servos o que ia fazer, nem mesmo como ia fazer. Da mesma forma, Ele n\u00e3o revela todo o Seu plano para as nossas vidas de uma s\u00f3 vez. Ele deseja que simplesmente O obede\u00e7amos e confiemos n'Ele. "Sem f\u00e9 \u00e9 imposs\u00edvel agradar a Deus" (Hebreus 11:6).<\/p>
