\u201cSacrif\u00edcios e ofertas n\u00e3o te agradaram, mas deste ouvidos atentos a mim; holocaustos e ofertas pelo pecado n\u00e3o os exigiste. Ent\u00e3o eu disse: \u2018Eis que venho; no rolo do livro est\u00e1 escrito a meu respeito: Tenho prazer em fazer a tua vontade, \u00f3 Deus meu; a tua lei est\u00e1 dentro do meu cora\u00e7\u00e3o.\u2019\u201d<\/em>
Salmo 40:6-8<\/strong><\/p>

O Salmo 40 \u00e9 considerado um Salmo Messi\u00e2nico porque fala profeticamente do Messias, o Senhor Jesus Cristo. Isso \u00e9 confirmado em Hebreus 10:1, 4-7:<\/p>

\u201c"Pois a lei, tendo apenas a sombra dos bens vindouros, e n\u00e3o a imagem exata das coisas, nunca poder\u00e1, pelos mesmos sacrif\u00edcios que s\u00e3o oferecidos continuamente, ano ap\u00f3s ano, aperfei\u00e7oar os que se aproximam... Porque \u00e9 imposs\u00edvel que o sangue de touros e bodes tire os pecados. Por isso, quando veio ao mundo, disse: 'Sacrif\u00edcio e oferta n\u00e3o quiseste, mas um corpo me preparaste. Holocausto e ofertas pelo pecado n\u00e3o te agradaram. Ent\u00e3o eu disse: Eis que venho! No rolo do livro est\u00e1 escrito a meu respeito, para fazer a tua vontade, \u00f3 Deus.'"\u2018<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>

Algumas tradu\u00e7\u00f5es n\u00e3o incluem a frase \u201cmas tu\u201d no Salmo 40; no entanto, ela nos ajuda a perceber o contraste que Deus estabelece entre os sacrif\u00edcios do Antigo Testamento e a oferta do Senhor Jesus. Isso fica ainda mais claro quando lemos em Hebreus:, \u201cMas um corpo que preparaste para Mim.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

Deus n\u00e3o se agradava dos sacrif\u00edcios e ofertas do Antigo Testamento, como afirma o Salmo 40, porque esses sacrif\u00edcios n\u00e3o podiam remover pecados, conforme explicado em Hebreus 10. Portanto, Deus Pai preparou um corpo para o Seu Filho, o Senhor Jesus. No Salmo 40 lemos:, \u201cMas o Senhor me deu ouvidos atentos.\u201d<\/em> que significa literalmente: \u201cVoc\u00eas cavaram orelhas para mim\u201d. O Pai preparou um corpo f\u00edsico para o Senhor Jesus para que Ele pudesse cumprir a Sua vontade. Hebreus continua dizendo:, \u201cPor essa vontade fomos santificados mediante a oferta do corpo de Jesus Cristo, feita uma vez para sempre.\u201d<\/em> (Hebreus 10:10).<\/p>

Porque o Senhor Jesus veio ao mundo \u2014 vindo em semelhan\u00e7a de homem, mas sem pecado \u2014 Ele p\u00f4de ser o sacrif\u00edcio perfeito pelo pecado, um aroma agrad\u00e1vel oferecido a Deus (Ef\u00e9sios 5:1-2). Por meio do Seu sacrif\u00edcio, \u201cE este homem, havendo oferecido um \u00fanico sacrif\u00edcio pelos pecados para sempre, assentou-se \u00e0 direita de Deus.\u201d<\/em> (Hebreus 10:12).<\/p>
