Pois o Filho do Homem veio buscar e salvar o que estava perdido.\u201d
<\/em>Lucas 19:10<\/strong><\/p>

\u201c"Pois o Pai procura adoradores que sejam assim."\u201d
<\/em>Jo\u00e3o 4:23<\/strong><\/p>

No primeiro vers\u00edculo, vemos que o Senhor Jesus veio buscar e salvar o que estava perdido. No segundo vers\u00edculo, vemos que o Pai enviou Seu Filho para buscar e salvar \u2014 com o prop\u00f3sito espec\u00edfico de gerar um povo que O adorasse. Muitas vezes pensamos que a principal raz\u00e3o pela qual fomos redimidos \u00e9 para escapar do inferno. Certamente, esse \u00e9 um benef\u00edcio maravilhoso, mas n\u00e3o \u00e9 o prop\u00f3sito principal. Embora possamos e devamos desfrutar das b\u00ean\u00e7\u00e3os que temos em Cristo, elas n\u00e3o devem se tornar nosso foco principal. Nunca devemos estar t\u00e3o ocupados com as b\u00ean\u00e7\u00e3os a ponto de perdermos de vista Aquele que nos aben\u00e7oa.<\/p>

Pode nos surpreender perceber que o motivo supremo da nossa reden\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o \u00e9 para que n\u00f3s recebamos, mas para que Deus receba. Fomos redimidos para que Deus seja adorado e glorificado por meio de nossas vidas. O ap\u00f3stolo Paulo expressou isso desta maneira: \u201cA Ele seja a gl\u00f3ria na igreja, por meio de Cristo Jesus, por todas as gera\u00e7\u00f5es, para todo o sempre.\u201d<\/em> (Ef\u00e9sios 3:21).<\/p>

Em Romanos 1:5, aprendemos que o prop\u00f3sito da evangeliza\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 \u201cobedi\u00eancia \u00e0 f\u00e9 entre todas as na\u00e7\u00f5es, por amor do Seu nome.\u201d <\/em>O ap\u00f3stolo Jo\u00e3o ecoa isso em 3 Jo\u00e3o 7, escrevendo que mission\u00e1rios sa\u00edram \u201cPor amor ao Seu nome.\u201d<\/em> Nossa salva\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9, antes de tudo, para a gl\u00f3ria de Deus, e n\u00e3o meramente para nosso benef\u00edcio.<\/p>

\u00c9 claro que desfrutamos de in\u00fameras b\u00ean\u00e7\u00e3os na salva\u00e7\u00e3o! Mas esses s\u00e3o benef\u00edcios adicionais, n\u00e3o o prop\u00f3sito final. Somos chamados a glorificar a Deus antes de buscarmos obter qualquer coisa Dele.<\/p>

Foi isso que o Senhor Jesus enfatizou quando disse:, \u201cBuscai primeiro o reino de Deus e a sua justi\u00e7a, e todas estas coisas vos ser\u00e3o acrescentadas.\u201d<\/em> (Mateus 6:33). Ao longo das Escrituras, vemos que a principal atividade de Deus sempre foi buscar verdadeiros adoradores. Em Apocalipse 19:1-5, a igreja no c\u00e9u declara: \u201cAleluia! A salva\u00e7\u00e3o, a gl\u00f3ria, a honra e o poder pertencem ao Senhor nosso Deus! Pois verdadeiros e justos s\u00e3o os Seus ju\u00edzos\u2026 Aleluia!\u2026 Am\u00e9m! Aleluia!\u2026 Louvai o nosso Deus, todos v\u00f3s, Seus servos e todos os que O temem, pequenos e grandes!\u201d<\/em><\/p>

O prop\u00f3sito final do c\u00e9u \u00e9 que possamos adorar a Deus corretamente e para sempre.<\/p>
