E quem ama o filho ou a filha mais do que a mim n\u00e3o \u00e9 digno de mim.&quot;\u201d<\/em><br \/><strong>Mateus 10:37<\/strong><\/p><p>Nos dias de Cristo, as pessoas buscavam o Pr\u00edncipe da Paz (Isa\u00edas 9:6; Salmo 72). Elas n\u00e3o percebiam que primeiro o Senhor precisava ser rejeitado, sofrer na cruz, e s\u00f3 ent\u00e3o a gl\u00f3ria viria (1 Pedro 1:11). O Senhor come\u00e7ou a preparar seus seguidores desde cedo para o conflito que Ele pr\u00f3prio enfrentaria, um conflito do qual eles tamb\u00e9m n\u00e3o poderiam escapar. Devemos nos lembrar, mais uma vez, que o contexto aqui \u00e9 sobre servi\u00e7o, e o Senhor est\u00e1 expressando a necessidade de seus disc\u00edpulos lhe darem o primeiro lugar em suas vidas.<\/p><p>Tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 \u00fatil perceber que um novo relacionamento foi estabelecido por meio da obra consumada na cruz. O Senhor enfatizou isso em Marcos 3:31-35: <em data-start=\"1295\" data-end=\"1762\">\u201cEnt\u00e3o chegaram seus irm\u00e3os e sua m\u00e3e, e, ficando do lado de fora, mandaram cham\u00e1-lo. E uma multid\u00e3o estava sentada ao redor dele; e disseram-lhe: Eis que tua m\u00e3e e teus irm\u00e3os est\u00e3o l\u00e1 fora procurando-te. E ele lhes respondeu, dizendo: Eis que Deus lhes perguntou ... disse: Eis que Deus lhes disse: Eis que Deus lhes disse: E disse: Eis que Deus lhes disse: Eis que Deus lhes disse: E disse: Eis que Deus lhes disse:\u2018<\/em><\/p><p>O Senhor Jesus ensinava aos seus seguidores que, se quisermos ser seus disc\u00edpulos, Ele deve ser a prioridade em nossas vidas. Costuma-se dizer: <em data-start=\"1914\" data-end=\"2054\">\u201cEm todas as vidas dos crentes, Cristo est\u00e1 presente; em algumas vidas, Ele \u00e9 proeminente. Mas a verdadeira quest\u00e3o \u00e9: Ele \u00e9 preeminente na minha vida?\u2019<\/em><\/p><p>A ideia aqui \u00e9 que meu cora\u00e7\u00e3o deve ser totalmente devotado a Cristo, e todos os outros relacionamentos devem ficar em segundo plano. Essa \u00e9 realmente a ideia de santifica\u00e7\u00e3o. A palavra <em data-start=\"2249\" data-end=\"2259\">santificar<\/em> Significa \u201cseparar algo para um prop\u00f3sito\u201d. O Senhor diz, <em data-start=\"2321\" data-end=\"2417\">\u201cN\u00e3o pensem que vim trazer paz \u00e0 Terra. N\u00e3o vim trazer paz, mas sim a espada.\u201d<\/em> (Mateus 10:34) A espada representa a separa\u00e7\u00e3o (Hebreus 4:12).<\/p><p>O Senhor Jesus n\u00e3o est\u00e1 condenando os la\u00e7os naturais ou familiares. Mas Ele est\u00e1 deixando claro que os la\u00e7os naturais nunca devem ter prioridade sobre o nosso relacionamento com o Senhor Jesus \u2013 seja no nosso servi\u00e7o a Ele ou na nossa comunh\u00e3o com Ele.\u00a0<\/p><p><em data-start=\"2913\" data-end=\"3007\">\u201cNingu\u00e9m que p\u00f5e a m\u00e3o no arado e olha para tr\u00e1s est\u00e1 apto para o reino de Deus.\u201d<\/em> (Lucas 9:62) Ningu\u00e9m pode servir ao Senhor de forma morna.
