Voc\u00ea \u00e9 um Titus?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\u201cAl\u00e9m disso, quando cheguei a Tr\u00f4ade para pregar o evangelho de Cristo, e uma porta me foi aberta pelo Senhor, n\u00e3o tive paz de esp\u00edrito, porque n\u00e3o encontrei Tito, meu irm\u00e3o; mas, despedindo-me deles, parti para a Maced\u00f4nia.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

2 Cor\u00edntios 2:12-13<\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Por que Paulo n\u00e3o tinha paz quando n\u00e3o conseguia encontrar Tito? O que havia de t\u00e3o perturbador em Tito?<\/p>

Paulo havia enviado Tito a Corinto para saber como a assembleia havia reagido \u00e0 sua primeira carta, e Paulo aguardava o relat\u00f3rio. Sua profunda preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o com os crentes cor\u00edntios levantava quest\u00f5es inquietantes em sua mente, o que poderia ter sido a causa de sua inquieta\u00e7\u00e3o. Em 2 Cor\u00edntios 7:5, Paulo descreve seu estado como sendo \u201c\u2026problem\u00e1tica por todos os lados. Do lado de fora, conflitos; do lado de dentro, medos.\u201d<\/em> Em 2 Cor\u00edntios 2:13, ele disse:, \u201cN\u00e3o encontrei paz de esp\u00edrito.\u201d<\/em> E em 2 Cor\u00edntios 7:5, ele acrescentou:, \u201c\u2026nossos corpos n\u00e3o tiveram descanso.\u201d<\/em> Paulo estava espiritualmente esgotado. Em 2 Cor\u00edntios 11:28, ele menciona que o cuidado di\u00e1rio com todas as igrejas o sobrecarregava. O ap\u00f3stolo Paulo parece ter estado deprimido, mas n\u00e3o desistiu. Ele estava \u201cAfligidos em tudo, mas n\u00e3o esmagados; perplexos, mas n\u00e3o desesperados\u201d<\/em> (4:8). Ele ficou desanimado, mas n\u00e3o derrotado, ainda mantendo a esperan\u00e7a de um bom relat\u00f3rio quando encontrou Tito.<\/p>

Mas talvez houvesse algo mais por tr\u00e1s disso. Talvez fosse algo pessoal. Esta \u00e9, na verdade, a primeira vez que Tito \u00e9 mencionado pelo nome no Novo Testamento. Paulo o chama de Tito. \u201cmeu verdadeiro filho\u201d<\/em> Em Tito 1:4 e em 2 Cor\u00edntios 2:13, ele o chama de \u201cMeu irm\u00e3o.\u201d<\/em>Seu nome significa \u201c"enfermeira"\u201d<\/em> ou \u201c"criador"\u201d<\/em>\u2014aquele que ajuda a cuidar dos outros. Em 2 Cor\u00edntios 7:5-6, vemos o al\u00edvio de Paulo quando Tito chegou: \u201cPois, de fato, quando chegamos \u00e0 Maced\u00f4nia, nossos corpos n\u00e3o tiveram descanso, mas fomos perturbados por todos os lados. Por fora, conflitos; por dentro, temores. Contudo, Deus, que consola os abatidos, nos consolou com a chegada de Tito, e n\u00e3o apenas com a sua chegada, mas tamb\u00e9m com a consola\u00e7\u00e3o que ele recebeu de voc\u00eas, quando nos contou sobre o desejo intenso que voc\u00eas t\u00eam de mim, o luto que sentem e o zelo que demonstram por mim, de modo que me alegrei ainda mais.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

A chegada de Tito trouxe alegria a Paulo n\u00e3o apenas pelo relato que ele trazia, mas por quem Tito era. Ele fazia jus ao seu nome, permitindo que o Deus de toda consola\u00e7\u00e3o o usasse como um canal de consolo.<\/p>

A palavra grega para conforto \u00e9 parakaleo,<\/em> Significa \u201cchamar para o lado de algu\u00e9m, chamar, convocar\u201d. Pode significar exorta\u00e7\u00e3o, encorajamento ou consolo. Paulo usa essa palavra 29 vezes em 2 Cor\u00edntios \u2014 11 vezes como substantivo e 18 vezes como verbo. A imagem \u00e9 de algu\u00e9m caminhando ao lado de outro, oferecendo conforto e encorajamento.<\/p>

Vamos pensar por um momento sobre o que significa ser um Tito \u2014 algu\u00e9m que consola os outros. Uma defini\u00e7\u00e3o simples de consolo \u00e9 \u201cpassar juntos pelos momentos dif\u00edceis\u201d. Somos instru\u00eddos em 1 Tessalonicenses 5:11 a... \u201cConsolem-se uns aos outros e edifiquem-se uns aos outros.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

\u00c2ncora de hoje<\/strong><\/p>

O Senhor est\u00e1 procurando crentes "como Tito" hoje \u2014 aqueles que Ele possa usar para consolar os abatidos.
