Agora, abra sua B\u00edblia em 1 Jo\u00e3o 5:13 e compare os pensamentos imaginativos do homem com a Palavra de Deus, que diz: \u201cEstas coisas vos escrevi, a v\u00f3s que credes no nome do Filho de Deus, para que saibais que tendes a vida eterna\u201d.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Em \u00caxodo 11-12, o Senhor pronunciou a senten\u00e7a de morte sobre os primog\u00eanitos em todas as casas do Egito que n\u00e3o tivessem sangue de cordeiro colocado nos batentes das portas. Ora, como os primog\u00eanitos de Israel sabiam com certeza que estavam a salvo naquela noite do julgamento? Vamos visitar duas casas e ouvir o que elas t\u00eam a dizer.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Na primeira casa, todos est\u00e3o tremendo de medo. Tudo o que posso fazer \u00e9 esperar pelo melhor.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Perguntamos: \u201cO Deus de Israel n\u00e3o providenciou um meio de seguran\u00e7a para o Seu povo?\u201d O filho responde: \u201cSim, e fizemos o que Deus nos ordenou. O sangue de um cordeiro imaculado foi aspergido nos batentes das portas, mas ainda assim n\u00e3o temos certeza da nossa seguran\u00e7a.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Agora vamos para a casa ao lado. Que contraste! Todos est\u00e3o felizes. Os batentes das portas est\u00e3o pintados e eles est\u00e3o saboreando o cordeiro assado. Por que tanta alegria em uma noite t\u00e3o solene? Eles respondem: \u201cEstamos aguardando as ordens de Jeov\u00e1 e ent\u00e3o nos despediremos do Egito\u201d.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>\u201cMas voc\u00ea n\u00e3o sabe que esta \u00e9 uma noite de julgamento?\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>\u201cClaro, mas nosso filho primog\u00eanito est\u00e1 a salvo. O sangue foi derramado de acordo com as ordens de Deus.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>\u201cMas isso tamb\u00e9m aconteceu na casa ao lado\u201d, respondemos, \u201ce eles est\u00e3o descontentes porque n\u00e3o t\u00eam certeza da sua seguran\u00e7a.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>O primog\u00eanito responde com firmeza: \u201cTemos mais do que o sangue. Temos a Palavra de Deus a respeito disso. Deus disse: &#039;Quando eu vir o sangue, passarei por cima de voc\u00eas&#039;. Deus est\u00e1 satisfeito com o sangue exterior, e n\u00f3s estamos satisfeitos com a Sua Palavra interior. O sangue aspergido nos torna seguros, enquanto a Palavra de Deus nos d\u00e1 certeza.\u2018\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Qual dessas duas casas era mais segura? A resposta \u00e9 que ambas eram igualmente seguras, porque a seguran\u00e7a delas dependia apenas do que Deus pensava sobre o sangue derramado do lado de fora, e n\u00e3o dos sentimentos das pessoas. Se voc\u00ea quer ter certeza das suas b\u00ean\u00e7\u00e3os, n\u00e3o d\u00ea ouvidos ao testemunho inst\u00e1vel das suas emo\u00e7\u00f5es. Outra pessoa tamb\u00e9m pediu para alug\u00e1-la, e \u00e9 um bom amigo do dono.\u201d As esperan\u00e7as do homem se desfazem como bolhas de sab\u00e3o. Um dia ele est\u00e1 esperan\u00e7oso, e no dia seguinte, est\u00e1 cheio de d\u00favidas.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Ent\u00e3o, chega uma carta do propriet\u00e1rio. Seu rosto muda de suspense para alegria ao l\u00ea-la. Ele exclama para a esposa: &quot;Est\u00e1 resolvido agora. O propriet\u00e1rio disse que a casa \u00e9 nossa pelo tempo que quisermos alug\u00e1-la. A opini\u00e3o dos outros n\u00e3o importa mais, agora que temos a palavra escrita do propriet\u00e1rio.&quot;\u201c\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Muitas pessoas se encontram em situa\u00e7\u00e3o semelhante, perturbadas pelas opini\u00f5es alheias ou pelos sentimentos de seus cora\u00e7\u00f5es. Somente quando finalmente recebem a seguran\u00e7a da Palavra de Deus \u00e9 que a certeza toma o lugar da d\u00favida.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Quando Deus fala, deve haver certeza, seja ao anunciar a condena\u00e7\u00e3o do incr\u00e9dulo ou a salva\u00e7\u00e3o do crente. \u201cPara sempre, \u00f3 Senhor, a tua palavra est\u00e1 firmada nos c\u00e9us\u201d (Salmo 119:89). Sua Palavra resolve tudo. \u201cPorventura, disse ele e n\u00e3o o far\u00e1? Ou falou e n\u00e3o o cumprir\u00e1?\u201d (N\u00fameros 23:19).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Mas voc\u00ea pode perguntar: \u201cComo posso ter certeza de que tenho f\u00e9 suficiente e do tipo certo?\u201d N\u00e3o se trata do tipo certo ou da quantidade de f\u00e9 que voc\u00ea tem, mas da confiabilidade da Pessoa em quem voc\u00ea cr\u00ea. Voc\u00ea confia na Pessoa certa \u2013 o Filho de Deus?\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Um homem se agarra a Cristo com a for\u00e7a de um afogado, enquanto outro toca apenas a orla de Sua veste, mas ambos est\u00e3o igualmente seguros. Ambos fizeram a mesma descoberta. Podem confiar plenamente em Cristo e em Sua Palavra e descansar com seguran\u00e7a na efic\u00e1cia eterna de Sua obra consumada.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Certifique-se de que sua confian\u00e7a n\u00e3o se baseie em suas boas obras, suas atividades religiosas, seus sentimentos ou sua forma\u00e7\u00e3o moral. Voc\u00ea pode ter a f\u00e9 mais forte nessas coisas e ainda assim perecer eternamente. A f\u00e9 mais fr\u00e1gil em Cristo salva eternamente; a cren\u00e7a mais forte em si mesmo \u00e9 in\u00fatil.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>\u201cEu acredito Nele\u201d, disse uma menina de semblante triste um dia, \u201cmas n\u00e3o gosto de dizer que sou salva por medo de estar mentindo\u201d. O pai dessa menina tinha ido a um leil\u00e3o de gado comprar ovelhas e ainda n\u00e3o havia retornado. Ent\u00e3o eu disse: \u201cAgora, imagine que, quando seu pai chegar em casa, voc\u00ea pergunte a ele quantas ovelhas ele comprou, e ele responda &#039;dez&#039;. Mais tarde, algu\u00e9m lhe pergunta quantas ovelhas seu pai comprou hoje, e voc\u00ea responde: &#039;N\u00e3o quero dizer porque posso estar mentindo&#039;\u2018. Cristo afirmou: \u201cQuem cr\u00ea em mim tem a vida eterna\u201d (Jo\u00e3o 6:47).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Voc\u00ea pode ent\u00e3o se perguntar: \u201cComo posso ter certeza de que acredito? Quanto mais examino minha f\u00e9, menos parece que a tenho.\u201d Talvez voc\u00ea esteja olhando na dire\u00e7\u00e3o errada. Sua tentativa de acreditar s\u00f3 demonstra que voc\u00ea est\u00e1 no caminho errado.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Permita-me usar outra ilustra\u00e7\u00e3o. Certa noite, um homem not\u00f3rio por mentir conta que um amigo acabou de morrer em um acidente de carro. \u00c9 improv\u00e1vel que voc\u00ea acredite nele, pois o conhece muito bem. Mas ent\u00e3o, um vizinho lhe conta a mesma not\u00edcia ruim. Desta vez, voc\u00ea diz: &quot;J\u00e1 que voc\u00ea me contou, eu acredito&quot;. Ele nunca mentiu para mim e sei que nunca mentir\u00e1&quot;.\u201c\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Da mesma forma, sei que posso crer no Evangelho por causa Daquele que me traz a not\u00edcia. \u201cSe aceitamos o testemunho dos homens, o testemunho de Deus \u00e9 maior; porque este \u00e9 o testemunho de Deus, que Ele deu acerca de Seu Filho\u2026 quem n\u00e3o cr\u00ea em Deus o faz mentiroso, porque n\u00e3o cr\u00ea no testemunho que Deus deu acerca de Seu Filho\u201d (1 Jo\u00e3o 5:9-10).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Certa vez, uma pessoa ansiosa disse a um pregador: &quot;N\u00e3o consigo acreditar&quot;. O pregador perguntou: &quot;Em quem voc\u00ea n\u00e3o consegue acreditar?&quot;. Essa pergunta resolveu o problema. Ele havia encarado a f\u00e9 como algo que precisava sentir dentro de si para ter certeza de que era digno do c\u00e9u. Mas a f\u00e9 sempre olha para fora, para Cristo e Sua obra consumada, e escuta em sil\u00eancio o testemunho de um Deus fiel a respeito de ambos.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>O olhar para o exterior traz paz interior. Quando um homem volta o rosto para o sol, sua sombra fica atr\u00e1s dele. Voc\u00ea n\u00e3o pode olhar para si mesmo e para Cristo glorificado no c\u00e9u ao mesmo tempo. O Filho de Deus conquista sua confian\u00e7a: Sua obra consumada garante a sua seguran\u00e7a eterna, e a Palavra de Deus lhe d\u00e1 a certeza da
