Senhor<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b927058 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b927058\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote><div style=\"text-align: center;\">Portanto, busquemos as coisas que promovem a paz e aquelas que edificam uns aos outros.<\/div><div style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong> Romanos 14:19<\/strong><\/div><\/blockquote><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Ao observarmos o mundo hoje, vemos que ao nosso redor h\u00e1 turbul\u00eancia. H\u00e1 agita\u00e7\u00e3o pol\u00edtica e desordem social, e a instabilidade econ\u00f4mica \u00e9 preocupante. N\u00e3o poder\u00edamos esperar essa falta de paz em um mundo que rejeitou o Pr\u00edncipe da Paz! Mas o que \u00e9 ainda mais alarmante \u00e9 a falta de paz na Igreja, o corpo de Cristo. Parece que, para onde quer que nos voltemos, ouvimos falar de problemas entre o povo do Senhor. \u00c9 interessante notar que a palavra &quot;problema&quot; n\u00e3o existe na B\u00edblia. A B\u00edblia n\u00e3o considera essas dificuldades entre os crist\u00e3os como problemas; ela se refere a elas como pecados ou fraquezas.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Achei instrutivo notar que a maioria, sen\u00e3o todas, as cartas gerais \u00e0 igreja nos exortam a viver em paz. Sabemos que a paz come\u00e7a com Deus e que a \u00fanica maneira de desfrutarmos da paz com Deus \u00e9 por meio da obra consumada de Cristo: \u201cPortanto, justificados pela f\u00e9, temos paz com Deus por meio de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, por interm\u00e9dio de quem obtivemos acesso pela f\u00e9 a esta gra\u00e7a na qual agora estamos firmes; e nos gloriamos na esperan\u00e7a da gl\u00f3ria de Deus\u201d (Romanos 5:1-2). Mas, uma vez que temos paz com Deus, como Seus filhos, somos instru\u00eddos a \u201cimit\u00e1-Lo\u201d (Ef\u00e9sios 5:1) e buscar a paz. Viver em paz com os outros \u00e9 uma premissa fundamental do cristianismo. Paulo ordenou isso a todas as assembleias para as quais escreveu, de uma forma ou de outra. Ele inicia a maior parte de suas cartas com \u201cGra\u00e7a e Paz\u201d.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Ao escrever aos romanos, Paulo os instruiu a serem mais que vencedores em Cristo e os encorajou em Romanos 12:18: \u201cSe poss\u00edvel, no que depender de voc\u00eas, vivam em paz com todos\u201d. Aos cor\u00edntios, ele os admoestou por terem um esp\u00edrito competitivo e os ensinou a n\u00e3o dividir a igreja nem a buscar destaque. Os santos da Gal\u00e1cia foram instru\u00eddos a ensinar a mesma coisa e a n\u00e3o se atacarem mutuamente por causa de sua etnia. Em \u00c9feso, Paulo disse: \u201cEu, portanto, prisioneiro no Senhor, rogo-lhes que vivam de maneira digna da voca\u00e7\u00e3o com que foram chamados, com toda a humildade e mansid\u00e3o, com longanimidade, suportando-se uns aos outros em amor, esfor\u00e7ando-se para preservar a unidade do Esp\u00edrito no v\u00ednculo da paz\u201d. At\u00e9 mesmo os jovens crentes de Tessal\u00f4nica foram instru\u00eddos a n\u00e3o deixar que suas d\u00favidas os dividissem.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Ou\u00e7a algumas das outras cartas do Novo Testamento sobre este assunto:\u00a0<\/div><div>&quot;Esforcem-se para viver em paz com todos e para serem santos; sem santidade ningu\u00e9m ver\u00e1 o Senhor&quot; (Hebreus 12:14).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>\u201cPois onde h\u00e1 inveja e ambi\u00e7\u00e3o ego\u00edsta, a\u00ed h\u00e1 confus\u00e3o e toda esp\u00e9cie de males. Mas a sabedoria que vem do alto \u00e9 primeiramente pura; depois, pac\u00edfica, am\u00e1vel, compreensiva, cheia de miseric\u00f3rdia e de bons frutos, imparcial e sem hipocrisia. Ora, o fruto da justi\u00e7a semeia-se em paz para aqueles que promovem a paz\u201d (Tiago 3:16-18).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>\u201cPortanto, amados, aguardando estas coisas, empenhem-se para serem encontrados por ele em paz, sem m\u00e1cula e irrepreens\u00edveis\u201d (2 Pedro 3:14).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Mas voc\u00eas, amados, lembrem-se das palavras ditas pelos ap\u00f3stolos de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo: como eles lhes disseram que nos \u00faltimos tempos haveria zombadores que andariam segundo as suas concupisc\u00eancias \u00edmpias. Estes s\u00e3o pessoas sensuais que causam divis\u00f5es e n\u00e3o t\u00eam o Esp\u00edrito (Judas 17-19).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Em Mateus 5:9, o Senhor Jesus declarou: \u201cBem-aventurados os pacificadores, porque ser\u00e3o chamados filhos de Deus\u201d. Por que essa ideia de buscar a paz \u00e9 t\u00e3o importante? \u00c9 importante para o Senhor porque est\u00e1 dentro da Sua natureza! Seis vezes no Novo Testamento, Deus \u00e9 referido como \u201co Deus da paz\u201d (Romanos 15:33, 16:20, 1 Cor\u00edntios 14:33, Filipenses 4:9, Hebreus 13:20, 1 Tessalonicenses 5:23). E cada vez o contexto \u00e9 diferente e a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o desse t\u00edtulo tamb\u00e9m seria diferente.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Em 2 Tessalonicenses 3:16, o Senhor Jesus, o Pr\u00edncipe da Paz (Isa\u00edas 9:6), \u00e9 chamado de \u201cSenhor da Paz\u201d. Ele \u00e9 a nossa paz e \u00e9 Aquele que estabeleceu a paz e a prega por meio da Sua igreja hoje (Ef\u00e9sios 2:14-17). A pr\u00f3pria presen\u00e7a do Esp\u00edrito de Deus em n\u00f3s produz paz, de acordo com G\u00e1latas 5:22-23: \u201cMas o fruto do Esp\u00edrito \u00e9 amor, alegria, paz, longanimidade, amabilidade, bondade, fidelidade, mansid\u00e3o e dom\u00ednio pr\u00f3prio. Contra essas coisas n\u00e3o h\u00e1 lei\u201d. Mas algumas coisas entristecem e apagam o Esp\u00edrito. \u201cOra, as obras da carne s\u00e3o manifestas, as quais s\u00e3o adult\u00e9rio, fornica\u00e7\u00e3o, impureza, lasc\u00edvia, idolatria, feiti\u00e7aria, inimizades, contendas, ci\u00fames, iras, ambi\u00e7\u00f5es ego\u00edstas, dissens\u00f5es, heresias, inveja, homic\u00eddios, bebedices, orgias e coisas semelhantes a estas, acerca das quais vos declaro, como j\u00e1 antes vos disse, que os que praticam tais coisas n\u00e3o herdar\u00e3o o reino de Deus.\u201d Todas as coisas listadas em G\u00e1latas s\u00e3o obst\u00e1culos \u00e0 paz. Quando essas coisas estavam presentes em Corinto, Paulo disse-lhes que n\u00e3o eram espirituais. Ou\u00e7am o que ele disse em 1 Cor\u00edntios 3:1-4: \u201cIrm\u00e3os, eu n\u00e3o pude falar com voc\u00eas como a espirituais, mas como a carnais, como a crian\u00e7as em Cristo. Dei-lhes leite e n\u00e3o alimento s\u00f3lido, pois voc\u00eas n\u00e3o estavam em condi\u00e7\u00f5es de receb\u00ea-lo. De fato, voc\u00eas ainda n\u00e3o est\u00e3o, porque ainda s\u00e3o carnais. Ora, onde h\u00e1 inveja, contendas e divis\u00f5es entre voc\u00eas, n\u00e3o est\u00e3o sendo carnais e se comportando como meros homens? Pois, quando algu\u00e9m diz: \u201cEu sou de Paulo\u201d, e outro: \u201cEu sou de Apolo\u201d, n\u00e3o est\u00e3o sendo carnais?\u201d \u00c9 muito dif\u00edcil para n\u00f3s experimentarmos paz se estivermos ocupados conosco mesmos, com nossos problemas, nossos pontos de vista ou at\u00e9 mesmo com outras pessoas! Aquilo com que nos ocupamos \u00e9 o que perseguiremos.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Como crist\u00e3os, somos instru\u00eddos a buscar ativamente a paz. Devemos compreender que a paz \u00e9 mais do que simplesmente a aus\u00eancia de conflito. A paz traz consigo a ideia de descanso, tranquilidade e harmonia. O interessante \u00e9 que todas essas s\u00e3o condi\u00e7\u00f5es do cora\u00e7\u00e3o, e Mateus 6:21 nos lembra: \u201cPois onde estiver o seu tesouro, a\u00ed estar\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m o seu cora\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d. Seja qual for o nosso tesouro, seja o que for que estejamos buscando ativamente, isso revela onde est\u00e1 o nosso cora\u00e7\u00e3o! Paulo nos lembra que a verdadeira paz exige trabalho! \u201cPortanto, busquemos as coisas que contribuem para a paz e para a edifica\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00fatua. N\u00e3o destruam a obra de Deus por causa da comida. Todas as coisas s\u00e3o puras, mas \u00e9 mau para o homem que come com esc\u00e2ndalo\u201d (Romanos 14:19-20). Em Ef\u00e9sios 4:1-3, ele diz: \u201cpara viverem de maneira digna da voca\u00e7\u00e3o com que foram chamados, com toda a humildade e mansid\u00e3o, com longanimidade, suportando-se uns aos outros em amor, esfor\u00e7ando-se por preservar a unidade do Esp\u00edrito no v\u00ednculo da paz\u201d. Pedro acrescenta: \u201cPortanto, amados, aguardando estas coisas, empenhem-se para serem encontrados por ele em paz, sem m\u00e1cula e irrepreens\u00edveis\u201d (2 Pedro 3:14). Devemos ser diligentes, o que significa trabalhar at\u00e9 a exaust\u00e3o e suar, na busca da paz! Curiosamente, devemos ser t\u00e3o diligentes na busca da paz e na preserva\u00e7\u00e3o da express\u00e3o externa da unidade do Esp\u00edrito quanto em \u201cprocurar apresentar-se a Deus aprovado, como obreiro que n\u00e3o tem do que se envergonhar e que maneja bem a palavra da verdade\u201d (2 Tim\u00f3teo 2:15).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Buscar a paz pode exigir uma mudan\u00e7a de comportamento. 2 Tim\u00f3teo 2:22 me desafia a \u201cFugir tamb\u00e9m das paix\u00f5es da mocidade; e seguir a justi\u00e7a, a f\u00e9, o amor e a paz com aqueles que, de cora\u00e7\u00e3o puro, invocam o Senhor\u201d. Se quisermos desfrutar dessa paz, n\u00e3o devemos buscar uma vida egoc\u00eantrica! Viver em paz tamb\u00e9m exige disciplina. Ou\u00e7am o que diz Hebreus 12:9-15: \u201cAl\u00e9m disso, tivemos pais humanos que nos corrigiram, e n\u00f3s os respeitamos. N\u00e3o devemos, ent\u00e3o, submeter-nos mais prontamente ao Pai dos esp\u00edritos, para vivermos? Pois eles nos disciplinaram por um pouco de tempo, conforme lhes pareceu melhor; mas Deus o faz para o nosso bem, para que participemos da sua santidade. Ora, nenhuma disciplina parece ser motivo de alegria no momento, mas sim de tristeza. Mais tarde, por\u00e9m, produz fruto de justi\u00e7a e paz para aqueles que por ela foram exercitados. Fortale\u00e7am, pois, as m\u00e3os cansadas e os joelhos vacilantes, e fa\u00e7am caminhos retos para os seus p\u00e9s, para que o que \u00e9 manco n\u00e3o se desloque, mas seja curado. Busquem a paz com todos e a santidade, sem a qual ningu\u00e9m ver\u00e1 o Senhor. Cuidem para que ningu\u00e9m se exclua da gra\u00e7a de Deus; para que nenhuma raiz de amargura brote e cause perturba\u00e7\u00e3o, contaminando muitos.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Para que haja paz em qualquer grupo, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio haver ordem para evitar rivalidades. Seja em casa, no trabalho ou na igreja, deve haver uma estrutura a ser seguida. Ao pensar na assembleia local, Paulo enfatiza isso em 1 Tessalonicenses 5:12-13, quando escreve: \u201cExortamos-vos, irm\u00e3os, que reconhe\u00e7ais os que trabalham arduamente entre v\u00f3s, os que vos lideram no Senhor e vos aconselham; e que os tenhais em alta estima, com amor, por causa do seu trabalho. Vivei em paz uns com os outros.\u201d\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Algumas pessoas praticam a \u201cpaz a qualquer pre\u00e7o\u201d e varrem os problemas para debaixo do tapete. Pensam que, se ignorarem o conflito, ele desaparecer\u00e1. Mas o mandamento de viver em paz com os outros tem duas exce\u00e7\u00f5es. Ambas se encontram em Romanos 12:18: \u201cSe poss\u00edvel, no que depender de voc\u00eas, vivam em paz com todos\u201d. Se for poss\u00edvel, essa \u00e9 a primeira exce\u00e7\u00e3o. Nem sempre \u00e9 poss\u00edvel viver em paz. Davi queria paz com o rei Saul, mas nunca a teve de fato. A segunda exce\u00e7\u00e3o mencionada neste vers\u00edculo \u00e9: no que depender de voc\u00eas. H\u00e1 momentos em que a outra pessoa se recusa a viver em paz, e as Escrituras nos lembram: \u201cUm irm\u00e3o ofendido \u00e9 mais dif\u00edcil de ganhar do que uma cidade fortificada\u201d (Prov\u00e9rbios 18:19). Mas n\u00e3o podemos deixar que essas exce\u00e7\u00f5es impe\u00e7am nossa busca pela paz! Se ambos os lados do conflito se recusarem a ceder, ambos pecaram. Se eu tiver a atitude \u201caquele irm\u00e3o \u00e9 t\u00e3o dif\u00edcil de conviver\u201d, o que eu realmente posso estar querendo dizer \u00e9 que \u201cele se recusa a admitir que eu estou certo\u201d. Como podemos resolver uma situa\u00e7\u00e3o dessas? Paulo aborda exatamente isso em Filipenses 2:1-4: \u201cPortanto, se h\u00e1 alguma consola\u00e7\u00e3o em Cristo, se alguma consola\u00e7\u00e3o de amor, se alguma comunh\u00e3o do Esp\u00edrito, se alguma afei\u00e7\u00e3o e miseric\u00f3rdia, completem a minha alegria, tendo o mesmo modo de pensar, o mesmo amor, sendo unidos de esp\u00edrito e de mente aberta. Nada fa\u00e7am por ambi\u00e7\u00e3o ego\u00edsta ou por vaidade, mas com humildade considerem os outros superiores a si mesmos. Cada um cuide, n\u00e3o somente dos seus interesses, mas tamb\u00e9m dos interesses dos outros.\u201d Se o amor de Deus realmente impactou meu cora\u00e7\u00e3o, ent\u00e3o n\u00e3o vou buscar e insistir no meu pr\u00f3prio caminho, porque o amor \u201cn\u00e3o busca os seus pr\u00f3prios interesses, n\u00e3o se irrita, n\u00e3o suspeita mal\u201d (1 Cor\u00edntios 13:5). Pode haver momentos em que a paz exige dist\u00e2ncia, como no caso de Paulo e Barnab\u00e9 em Atos 15. Eles tiveram uma s\u00e9ria desaven\u00e7a e seguiram caminhos separados. Mas, posteriormente, as Escrituras indicam que nenhuma animosidade persistiu entre eles. Parece que buscaram a paz em vez de deixar a amargura crescer.\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>O mundo est\u00e1 observando a igreja hoje. O que eles est\u00e3o vendo? O mundo est\u00e1 observando voc\u00ea e sua congrega\u00e7\u00e3o local. O que eles est\u00e3o vendo? Eles veem voc\u00eas buscando a paz? O Senhor Jesus disse: \u201cUm novo mandamento lhes dou: Amem-se uns aos outros. Assim como eu os amei, voc\u00eas devem amar-se uns aos outros. Com isso todos saber\u00e3o que voc\u00eas s\u00e3o meus disc\u00edpulos, se voc\u00eas se amarem uns aos outros\u201d (Jo\u00e3o 13:34-35). Ele tamb\u00e9m nos desafiou quando disse: \u201cO sal \u00e9 bom, mas se o sal perder o seu sabor, como voc\u00eas o temperar\u00e3o? Tenham sal em voc\u00eas mesmos e vivam em paz uns com os outros\u201d (Marcos 9:50).\u00a0<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Que possamos dar ouvidos \u00e0 palavra final de Paulo aos cor\u00edntios,<\/div><blockquote><div style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cFinalmente, irm\u00e3os, adeus. Sejam completos. Tenham bom \u00e2nimo, sejam de um s\u00f3 pensamento, vivam em paz; e o Deus de amor e paz estar\u00e1 com voc\u00eas.\u201d<\/div><div style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>2 Cor\u00edntios
