Zijn heer zag dat de HEER met hem was en dat de HEER alles wat hij deed, deed slagen\u2026 maar de HEER was met Jozef en betoonde hem barmhartigheid\u2026 de HEER was met hem.\u201d<br \/><strong>Genesis 39:2-3, 21, 23<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>Het leven van Jozef kan vanuit minstens drie verschillende perspectieven worden bekeken. Zijn leven kan vanuit een historisch oogpunt worden beschouwd, maar we kunnen ook de soevereine hand van God zien en Zijn voorzienige zorg en trouw jegens Jozef. Ten slotte is Jozef een prachtig beeld en type van onze Heer Jezus Christus.<\/p><p>Zijn leven kan worden onderverdeeld in vier basiscategorie\u00ebn, en in elk daarvan is Jozef een geweldig voorbeeld voor ons. Ten eerste maken we kennis met Jozef de dromer in Genesis 37. Vervolgens zien we in hoofdstuk 39 Jozef de arbeider, gevolgd door Jozef de gevangene (39:21-41:13). In het laatste deel van Jozefs leven zien we hem als Jozef de heerser (41:13-50:26).<\/p><p>Door alle hoogte- en dieptepunten in Jozefs leven heen lezen we over \u00e9\u00e9n onveranderlijk feit: &quot;De HEER was met Jozef&quot; (39:2, 3, 5, 21, 23; Handelingen 7:9). Van de put tot het paleis, de HEER was met Jozef. Alles verandert in het leven, maar de HEER was constant en standvastig. Dezelfde God die altijd met Jozef was, heeft beloofd jou nooit te verlaten of in de steek te laten (Hebree\u00ebn 13:5). Hij houdt je in Zijn hand, en niemand kan je uit Zijn hand rukken (Johannes 10:28-29) of je scheiden van Zijn liefde (Romeinen 8:35, 39). Net als Jozef ben jij wonderbaarlijk veilig in Zijn handen en in Zijn hart!<\/p><p>Hoewel de Heer Jozef moeilijke tijden liet doormaken, was Hij altijd bij hem en altijd achter de schermen aan het werk. De Heer werkte door middel van de discipline van dienstbaarheid. Jozef werd ontdaan van zijn veelkleurige mantel en kreeg de kleren van een dienaar, kleren van nederigheid. De Heer werkte ook door middel van de discipline van zelfbeheersing en hielp Jozef de verleiding van Potifars vrouw te overwinnen.<\/p><p>We zien een derde discipline in Jozefs leven: de discipline van het lijden. Daardoor leerde Jozef uithoudingsvermogen door zijn ervaringen en geduld te midden van de moeilijkheden waarmee hij geconfronteerd werd.<\/p><p><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>Misschien bevind je je momenteel in een moeilijk dal. Zoals de Heer met Jozef was, beste vriend, zo is Hij ook met jou! Wend je tot Hem, vind rust in Hem en weet dat Hij Jozef nooit verlaten heeft, en dat Hij jou ook niet zal verlaten!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Lord Was With Joseph \u201cThe LORD was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
