In Johannes 1:14 lezen we: &quot;Het Woord is vlees geworden en heeft onder ons gewoond, en wij hebben Zijn heerlijkheid gezien als die van de Eniggeboren Zoon van de Vader, vol van genade en waarheid.&quot; Even later lezen we: &quot;Niemand heeft ooit God gezien. De Eniggeboren Zoon, die in de schoot van de Vader is, heeft Hem bekendgemaakt&quot; (Joh. 1:18).<\/p><p>De uitdrukking &quot;in de schoot van de Vader&quot; kan ook gelezen worden als &quot;op de schoot van de Vader&quot;, wat duidt op een plaats van intimiteit. Het staat in de tegenwoordige tijd, wat betekent dat Hij, terwijl Hij hier op aarde was, in de schoot van de Vader was. Deze uitdrukking vertelt ons over de nabijheid en diepe verbondenheid tussen de Vader en de Zoon. Het vertelt ons over de gemeenschap tussen de Vader en de Zoon, waar alle gedachten van de Vader volmaakt worden beantwoord door de Zoon. Iemand heeft gezegd dat de gedachte hier is dat de Zoon Zijn gezicht naar binnen wendt en geniet van de volheid van de liefde van de Vader. Er is geen sluier, geen beperkte toegang, geen afgemeten intimiteit, maar alleen de volheid van volmaakte kennis en volmaakte vreugde.<\/p><p>Waarom is dit zo belangrijk voor ons? Omdat de Heer Jezus ons heeft geopenbaard wie de Vader is! Niemand anders kan de Vader beschrijven als Degene die alles weet wat er in de schoot van de Vader is. Al het andere vloeit hieruit voort. In de schoot van de Vader is de plaats van toegang, gemeenschap en liefde. Het spreekt van het hart van de Vader!<\/p><p>Hieruit vloeit de waarheid van de naam van de Vader voort. De Heer kon zeggen: &quot;Ik ben gekomen in de naam van Mijn Vader&quot; (Joh. 5:43). Een naam in de Schrift spreekt van karakter; onze Heer openbaarde ten volle het karakter van de Vader. In Johannes 6:39 lezen we dat de Zoon Zijn kracht en verkwikking vond in het doen van de wil van de Vader. Het volbrengen van die wil was Zijn voedsel, en Hij verlangde ernaar dat werk te voltooien (Joh. 4:34; 17:4; 19:30).<\/p><p>De Heer Jezus zei: \u201cMijn schapen horen Mijn stem, en Ik ken ze, en ze volgen Mij. Ik geef hun eeuwig leven, en ze zullen nooit verloren gaan; niemand zal ze uit Mijn hand rukken. Mijn Vader, die ze Mij gegeven heeft, is groter dan allen, en niemand is in staat ze uit de hand van Mijn Vader te rukken\u201d (Joh. 10:27-29).<\/p><p>Vervolgens lezen we in Lucas 23:46 dat enkele van de allerlaatste woorden van de Heer waren: &quot;Vader, in Uw handen leg Ik Mijn Geest.&quot; In Johannes 8:29 zien we dat de Heer zich altijd bewust was van de aanwezigheid van de Vader, toen Hij zei: &quot;En Hij die Mij gezonden heeft, is met Mij. De Vader heeft Mij niet alleen gelaten, want Ik doe altijd wat Hem behaagt.&quot;\u201c<\/p><p>De Heer Jezus wist dat Hij terug zou keren naar de Vader en sprak over het huis van de Vader in Johannes 14:2: &quot;In het huis van mijn Vader zijn vele woningen; als dat niet zo was, zou Ik het u gezegd hebben. Ik ga heen om een plaats voor u te bereiden.&quot;\u201c<\/p><p><strong>Ankerpunt voor vandaag:<\/strong><br \/>Dit alles wordt geopenbaard door de Zoon en vloeit voort uit de schoot van de Vader. De Heer Jezus kwam uit de schoot van de Vader, zodat Hij ons met Zich mee terug kon nemen: &quot;Vader, Ik wil dat ook zij die U Mij gegeven hebt, bij Mij zijn waar Ik ben, opdat zij Mijn heerlijkheid mogen zien, die U Mij gegeven hebt; want U hebt Mij liefgehad v\u00f3\u00f3r de grondlegging van de wereld&quot; (Joh. 17:24).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Father Revealed &#8220;And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.&#8221;John 17:26 When the Lord Jesus walked here in this world He revealed the Father.
